A return to the property that launched his career in Polynesia
The Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, awarded Two Keys by the Michelin Guide, welcomes back Adrien Harel, who previously held the role of Resort Manager there during an earlier posting. In the interim, he joined the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World, again as Resort Manager, before his career brought him back to lead the Polynesian property.
The General Manager role at the resort had previously been held by Romain Chanet, appointed to the position in 2022 and transferred this past July to the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr. Adrien Harel’s appointment continues the pattern of leadership moves regularly seen at this island address, closely followed within the Four Seasons portfolio.
A career built entirely within Four Seasons
A native of Mauritius, Adrien Harel trained in hospitality there before continuing his academic studies in France, in Dijon. He began his career at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, where he served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the property’s opening, before being promoted to Director of Food and Beverage.
His career then took him to Africa, where he took part in the openings of the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti in Tanzania and, subsequently, the Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, in both cases as Director of Food and Beverage. He went on to join the French Alps, where he was promoted to Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Megève, ahead of his first posting to Bora Bora as Resort Manager.
An appointment welcomed by Harel himself
Adrien Harel, General Manager of the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, said it was an absolute joy to rediscover the magic of Bora Bora. He added that the island, the resort and its teams share a generosity and attentiveness that come through in every experience offered to guests, as well as in the memories created there.
On a personal note, Adrien Harel divides his time between barbecuing, fishing and reggae music, with his wife and their two children. When travelling, he takes an interest in wine routes, having explored those of South Africa, France, California and Oregon.
