In post since late September

On 8 October 2026, Conrad Hong Kong officially announced the appointment of Conor Hadlington as General Manager, effective 28 September. He now leads the 513-room hotel located within the Pacific Place complex in Admiralty.

His remit brings the hotel’s day-to-day operations, its commercial strategy and the implementation of brand standards under a single leadership. Two priorities have been set: strengthening guest loyalty and fine-tuning the hotel’s operational performance.

Nearly 18 years in international luxury hospitality

Originally from the United Kingdom, Conor Hadlington brings nearly 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality, built across Asia, the United States and the Middle East. His career has taken him to three of the segment’s benchmark brands: Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental and Shangri-La.

He began his career in Food & Beverage operations before moving into broader management roles and, subsequently, into leading entire properties. According to the announcement, this operational grounding continues to shape his approach to hotel management.

Along the way, he has developed expertise spanning hotel operations, revenue performance, team development and the guest experience. The hotel highlights this combination of international experience and knowledge of the regional market as one of the strengths behind his appointment.

Commercial leadership at the heart of the role

Beyond operational oversight, the appointment places Conor Hadlington at the head of the hotel’s commercial function. His experience in revenue performance is one of the cornerstones of this responsibility, while his work on team development and the guest experience reflects the breadth of his background.

The role requires keeping commercial strategy and brand execution closely aligned, while building on the hotel’s established reputation. The appointment is part of a series of recent leadership changes at Conrad properties in Asia, following those of Nicola Coccia at Conrad Bangkok and Yong Min Kim at the forthcoming Conrad Bangkok Sukhumvit Queen’s Park.

Conrad, Hilton’s leading luxury brand

Conrad Hong Kong belongs to Conrad Hotels & Resorts, which Hilton describes as its largest luxury portfolio, with 51 properties across five continents. The brand combines contemporary interior design, art collections, destination-inspired experiences and personalised service, and is also developing a growing residential offering.

The brand continues to expand in Asia, as illustrated by the opening of Conrad Nagoya and the signing of Conrad Kobe in Japan.

At group level, Hilton operates 28 brands across more than 9,400 properties and nearly 1.4 million rooms in 144 countries and territories. The group employs around 500,000 people worldwide.
