A regional structure built from Vietnam
Palladium Hotel Group is establishing its first Southeast Asian presence with Ho Chi Minh City as its operational base. Farah Jaber has been tasked with building and steering the group’s regional presence, with responsibility for growth strategy, portfolio development, hotel operations and owner relations.
The choice of Vietnam as an anchor point reflects a wider trend observed in the country, where several international groups are strengthening their footprint, as seen with Grand Metropolitan, which continues its Asia-Pacific development from Hanoi.
Fifteen years of leadership between Asia-Pacific and the Indian Ocean
Before joining Palladium Hotel Group, Farah Jaber spent thirteen years with Minor Hotels, where he held several general management and area director positions. He notably led the Anantara Desaru Coast Resort, Villas & Residences in Malaysia as Area General Manager, having previously overseen several properties in Thailand, including the Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort and the opening of the Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort.
His history in Vietnam dates back to 2018, when he led the Anantara Quy Nhon Villas at its opening, alongside the Avani Quy Nhon Resort. This period saw him take on several general management roles in the country ahead of his current appointment.
Before Minor Hotels, his career took him to the Maldives with SRL Kanuhura, then to the Seychelles with Constance Hotels, Resorts and Golf, and to Dubai, where he began at the Government of Dubai – Department of Tourism and Commerce before joining One&Only Resorts.

A strengthened regional team
Farah Jaber‘s appointment comes alongside the recruitment of several new profiles dedicated to the region’s development. Phuong Dang has joined the group as Development Manager for Asia-Pacific, based in Vietnam, while Álvaro Moreno and Jacobo Priegue join the regional team as Group Operations Partners for Vietnam.
This build-out supports the group’s upcoming openings in the country, the BLESS L’Alya Ninh Van Bay and BLESS Hanoi, which will mark a new stage for the group’s lifestyle brand in Asia.
A Vietnamese gateway for a growing Spanish group
Founded by Abel Matutes Juan, Palladium Hotel Group has built its international development on a diverse portfolio of brands, from all-inclusive resorts to lifestyle addresses such as Only YOU Hotels, recently linked to a lifestyle project in Venice. The group’s arrival in Southeast Asia marks a new geographic step for the Spanish family-owned company, which has so far been mainly positioned in Europe and the Caribbean.
Vietnam continues to attract growing interest from international hospitality investors and operators, as illustrated by the development of brands such as IHG, whose Vignette Collection brand recently made its debut in the country in Hoi An.
Trained between Paris and Switzerland
Farah Jaber holds an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management (ESG Management School) and a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland. He began his career in Paris in a marketing and communications assistant role, before moving to Dubai in 2006.
