Galaxy Macau, the integrated resort of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) on Cotai, announced on 23 September 2026 the launch of the Galaxy Resort App and its associated membership programme, Galaxy Rewards. The platform allows guests to book stays, tables and shows from a single interface. It also includes a digital wallet that brings together members’ rewards, vouchers and benefits.

The resort presents the tool as the digital extension of its “Asian Heart” service philosophy. The app can be downloaded from the Galaxy Macau website. It is also intended to become the gateway to the new experiences the resort will roll out over time.

An app designed as a one-stop shop

The Galaxy Resort App brings accommodation, dining, entertainment and retail together in a single journey, from inspiration through to booking. Rooms, tables and show tickets can be booked in just a few steps, while a digital wallet centralises rewards, vouchers and privileges.

Galaxy Macau says it combines cutting-edge technology with authentic gestures of service. It presents the app as a natural evolution of its approach to hospitality rather than simply another booking channel.

Galaxy Rewards: loyalty linked to spend

At the heart of the offering, Galaxy Rewards is positioned as a lifestyle membership programme rather than a conventional hotel loyalty scheme. Guests enrol directly in the app using a valid mobile phone number, which gives them immediate access to an initial set of member-only benefits.

To mark the launch, every new member receives three dining vouchers, each worth up to MOP1,000 (around €107). Guests who book their stay through Galaxy Macau’s official channels and join the programme on arrival also receive 50 Resort Points.

Progression to higher tiers depends on qualifying spend. Each tier unlocks further benefits: personal shopping services, priority access to signature events, preferential show bookings, curated dining experiences and upgrade opportunities.

Dining as the main engagement lever

Galaxy Macau has made gastronomy the principal driver of the programme. The resort counts more than 120 dining outlets, spanning international restaurants and regional cuisines, several of which are recognised by the MICHELIN Guide and the Black Pearl guide. The resort also highlights its 12 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards, which it says make it the most Five-Star-awarded integrated resort in the world.

This strategy extends to a partnership around Chef of China – Season 2, a culinary competition streamed on Tencent Video. For the show, chefs Menex Cheung and Antonio Au visited several of the resort’s restaurants. These included 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, the one-MICHELIN-starred Italian restaurant; House of Origin, dedicated to Cantonese cuisine; and Andaz Kitchen, the Macanese restaurant at Andaz Macau, the brand’s largest property. The initiative showcases Macao’s status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Finally, members will enjoy privileged access to Galaxy Stars of Gastronomy 2026, the resort’s annual culinary event, taking place on 20 and 21 November at Cabana. This edition will bring together 12 chefs holding a combined 24 MICHELIN stars, alongside three mixologists.

THT view | A loyalty tool in service of a move upmarket

The launch comes as Galaxy Macau remains GEG’s main performance driver. In 2025, the resort generated €4.53 billion in net revenue, up 19%, with 98% occupancy across its nine hotels. The group is also pressing ahead with its move upmarket into the “super premium mass” segment, marked by the opening of Capella at Galaxy Macau in February 2026.

Galaxy Macau’s bet is to capture the whole of the guest’s spend within its ecosystem, as major hotel programmes such as ALL Accor, whose members stay more often and spend more, already do. However, the resort has not disclosed the number of tiers, the qualification thresholds or the Resort Points earning rate. Yet these details will be decisive in gauging the programme’s real reach.
