Appointment, Italy | Goffredo Dell’Appennino appointed General Manager of Bvlgari Hotel Roma

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Goffredo Dell’Appennino as General Manager of the Bvlgari Hotel Roma, having led the Bvlgari Hotel Milano since 2021. This appointment reflects a career built over more than twenty years in luxury hospitality and international dining, with experience gained across Europe and Asia.

Goffredo Dell’Appennino has held positions of increasing responsibility within Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, from leading Il Ristorante at the Bvlgari Hotel and Residences in Tokyo, where he served as General Manager, to leading the Shanghai property as Hotel Manager, through to heading the Milan property for the past five years.

Before joining the Bvlgari group on a lasting basis, he gained experience as Hotel Manager for EDITION Hotels and as Restaurant Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. His career began in dining, with experience as a sommelier at Gordon Ramsay’s London restaurants, following his early start at the Bvlgari Hotel Milano as Captain Waiter, then a role as Head Sommelier at Il Ristorante at Bvlgari Hotel and Residences, in Tokyo.

In his new role in Rome, he will be responsible for the hotel’s operations, guest experience and team management at one of the Italian capital’s iconic luxury hospitality addresses. The Bvlgari Hotel Roma opened in June 2023, on Piazza Augusto Imperatore, in a Rationalist building constructed between 1936 and 1938, facing the Mausoleum of Augustus, in the heart of the Campo Marzio district.

With this appointment, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts entrusts the leadership of the Bvlgari Hotel Roma to an executive with deep knowledge of the brand, having built most of his career within the Group, while bringing international experience gained across leading luxury hospitality markets.
