Groupe Premium, the wealth management specialist founded in 2000 and chaired by Olivier Farouz, has reached a new milestone in its growth. The group reported revenue of €504 million for the twelve months to end of June 2026 (LTM), up from €394 million for full-year 2025 — a rise of close to 28%. Assets under management now exceed €23 billion.

This performance comes alongside a major financing operation: over the summer, Groupe Premium completed an €850 million financing package aimed at refinancing its debt and supporting continued growth. As part of the deal, the group secured its first-ever credit ratings from S&P Global Ratings (B+) and Moody’s (Ba3) — an unprecedented step for a French wealth management firm.

A shift in scale welcomed by leadership

Olivier Farouz, chairman of Groupe Premium, said that passing €500 million in revenue over the past twelve months and €23 billion in assets under management marked a genuine change of scale, and that the results reflected the trust placed in the group by its clients, partners and teams. He added that the €850 million financing and the group’s first credit ratings gave it the means to accelerate with discipline.

He said he wanted the group to continue broadening its offering and to build, over the long term, Europe’s leading wealth management group in the service of its clients. The group is built on three pillars — advice accessible to all, asset management, and investment solutions — deployed through Capfinances, Predictis, Grifo Group and around twenty other brands.

Pierre Premier Gestion, the gateway to hotel real estate

This financial change of scale follows a less widely reported but strategically significant capital transaction for the hospitality sector: the acquisition, in January 2026, of a majority stake in Pierre Premier Gestion (PPG), an independent real estate management company chaired by Joël Vacher. The deal marks Groupe Premium’s entry into real estate management, a business previously absent from its portfolio of activities.

PPG designs and manages high-value-added real estate investment strategies across mainland France, through dedicated vehicles — OPPCI, FPCI and FCPR — aimed at private investors. The company manages close to €850 million in assets, following strategies that are either opportunistic or targeted at sectors seen as resilient: branded foodservice, food retail real estate, and budget hospitality.

Olivier Farouz had said he had deliberately waited before launching this real estate offering, convinced that the timing needed to be exactly right. He now believes conditions are in place and that the moment is ideal, while welcoming Joël Vacher, Gérald Prouteau and their teams into the group.

Budget hospitality, a safe haven for wealth managers

PPG’s arrival within Groupe Premium illustrates a broader trend seen in the French market: the growing presence of wealth managers and real estate management firms in hotel segments regarded as defensive. French budget hospitality is attracting a growing number of institutional investors in search of stable returns, buoyed by resilient occupancy rates and a customer base less sensitive to economic cycles than upscale segments.

This positioning brings PPG closer to approaches already at work among other asset managers who have diversified their portfolios into hospitality — a trend that reflects the hotel sector’s growing recognition as an asset class in its own right among wealth managers.

Outlook: towards a joint SCPI offering

In a second phase, Groupe Premium and Pierre Premier Gestion plan to launch a joint SCPI (French real estate investment trust), aimed at clients of both entities and designed to meet retail investors’ expectations for quality real estate products. This vehicle would complement the existing SCPI offering, run since May 2025 by Premimmo, the group’s entity dedicated to distributing real estate investment solutions.

Groupe Premium’s shareholder base reflects the ambition set out by its leadership: Eurazeo took a stake in 2021 to support the group’s growth, joined in 2023 by Blackstone as a minority shareholder, alongside Eurazeo and Montefiore Investment. The group now employs close to 3,100 staff and independent wealth advisers.
