HHM Hotels Strengthens Its Presence in Florida and Philadelphia with the Integration of Wurzak Hotel Group

HHM Hotels has announced a strategic combination with Wurzak Hotel Group (WHG), which joins its management platform with eleven hotels located in Florida and the US Mid-Atlantic. The deal, unveiled on 11 August 2026 in Philadelphia, does not change ownership of the properties but transfers their management to HHM Hotels, extending a professional relationship between the two groups that dates back more than thirty years.

A Portfolio of Eleven Premium-Quality Hotels

The alliance brings a collection of premium and lifestyle-branded hotels into the HHM Hotels platform, creating economies of scale for owners and new career opportunities for team members across both organisations. Among the properties joining the portfolio managed by HHM are The Dalmar, a well-known lifestyle hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Moxy St. Petersburg Downtown, and the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue, a central full-service branded property in the Philadelphia market.

Ownership of the hotels remains unchanged. Only the management of the properties is evolving, with HHM Hotels taking over the operational, sales and financial teams previously attached to Wurzak Hotel Group.

Two Organisations Rooted in the Same Markets

The transition brings together two well-established hospitality organisations with longstanding, deep ties to the major Greater Philadelphia and South Florida markets. “This is an exceptional opportunity for HHM Hotels to grow alongside industry partners who share our commitment to excellence,” says Shawn Tuli, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of HHM Hotels. “We admire the quality of the Wurzak portfolio and the standards maintained in Philadelphia and Florida, regions where we already have deep roots. Integrating these hotels and their teams allows us to leverage our regional scale while continuing to pursue our growth strategy.”

“My family and I have known HHM for more than thirty years, so this deal felt like a natural fit,” adds Jake Wurzak, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Wurzak Hotel Group. “Our hotels and our teams gain immediate access to some of the industry’s strongest infrastructure, technology and support, and our people now have genuine growth opportunities within a much larger network. What HHM is building is one of a kind, and we’re grateful to be part of it.”
