Following a first event in June, ECO-ONE, a company that helps hotels move towards sustainable development, is organising the second Paris edition of The Hotel Drop by ECO-ONE. The sale will take place online from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026, with free advance registration required.

All purchases are made online, and furniture is collected in Paris by booking a 30-minute slot, communicated to buyers by email. Those who register before the sale opens benefit from priority access.

Two Parisian 4-star hotels in a renewal phase

For this edition, the furniture comes from two 4-star properties. Les Jardins de la Villa, in the 17th arrondissement, will become the first property under the Alfred Hotels group’s 4-star brand once renovated. La Belle Juliette, a hotel and spa in the 6th arrondissement, belongs to the Hôtel Paris Rive Gauche group.

Around 40 items will be on offer, in limited quantities and while stocks last, with discounts of up to 80% on the new price. The selection includes tables and lighting from €25, bed bases from €45 and coffee machines at €15.

For Alfred Hotels, the initiative is consistent with its approach to building rehabilitation. Laure Duberga, the group’s Marketing and Product Director, whose arrival accompanied the strengthening of Alfred Hotels’ governance, explained that the group’s hotels almost always move into buildings that already have a history, and that it seeks to preserve as much of them as possible. Whatever cannot be kept, she said, deserves a second life, and the group hopes these items will find new owners.

The circular economy applied to renovation cycles

When they renovate, hotels replace a large share of their furniture. Rather than sending it to landfill, ECO-ONE resells it to the public, avoiding both its destruction and the manufacture of new furniture. Designed for intensive daily use, this furniture stands out for its durability and build quality.

Carried out in France and Spain, these operations have already enabled more than 175 tonnes of furniture to be reused and more than 25,000 pieces to be sold. Carlos Fluixá Ferrá, co-founder and CEO of ECO-ONE, explained that for hotels the scheme is a practical way of giving their furniture a second life, while for the public it is an opportunity to furnish their homes with quality pieces at affordable prices. With The Hotel Drop, he added, the circular economy and purchasing power go hand in hand.

For owners and operators engaged in renovation programmes, the scheme provides an operational outlet for removed furniture, while supporting their CSR strategy with a measurable impact in tonnes of furniture reused.

A concept proven in Spain, confirmed in Paris

Originally launched in Spain, The Hotel Drop gave a second life to 150 tonnes of furniture there over its first four editions. The first Paris edition, held in June 2026, brought together three hotels, including Hôtel des Grands Hommes and Hôtel Artus, with more than 700 pieces of furniture and decorative items for sale. It attracted 4,000 registrants and led to the sale of several hundred pieces.

The Hotel Drop is the consumer-facing strand of a broader business. Operating in France, Spain and Portugal, ECO-ONE supports hotels in their environmental transition, from responsible sourcing and circular economy projects to staff training and energy efficiency. At the end of September, the company also launched ONE, a purchasing platform for independent hotels.
