The Langham, Gold Coast announces the strengthening of its leadership team with the arrival of Josquin Crepelliere as Hotel Manager. The hotelier brings deep experience in hotel operations, commercial performance and team leadership, having worked with some of Australia’s most recognised hotel groups and iconic properties, holding leadership roles with Marriott, Sheraton, Pier One Sydney Harbour, TFE Hotels and Crystalbrook Collection.
Josquin Crepelliere most recently served as General Manager of Crystalbrook Collection, in Newcastle, Australia, where he held full responsibility for the 130-room luxury lifestyle hotel generating $18 million in annual revenue, with around 100 staff, three dining outlets and two event spaces, reporting directly to the CEO. There, he delivered consistent year-on-year financial improvement, drove NPS above 50 and achieved a 94% score in the Group’s governance audit, one of the network’s best results.
Arpad Romandy, General Manager of The Langham, Gold Coast, praised Josquin Crepelliere for a rare combination of commercial acumen, operational knowledge and genuine attention to people. He noted that his collaborative approach and strong commitment to guest experience closely align with how the property runs its operations, saying he looks forward to the contribution he will make to the hotel.
Josquin Crepelliere’s career also includes a role as Director of Operations at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay, a flagship 595-room property, where he notably contributed more than $1 million to GOP through a redesign of workforce scheduling and retention initiatives. He also held the roles of Director of Operations at Pier One Sydney Harbour, Autograph Collection, a heritage waterfront property, where he led a $15 million room renovation, as well as Director of Food and Beverage at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park and across a multi-property Sheraton Hotels & Resorts complex in Fiji.
His international career also took him to The Gambia, West Africa, as Director of Food and Beverage for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, as well as aboard Compagnie du Ponant ships as Assistant Maître d’Hôtel, a formative experience in high-end French service standards. He began his international career with Etihad Airways, in Abu Dhabi, as Food and Beverage Manager for First and Business cabins. Bilingual in French and English, Josquin Crepelliere holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morbihan, in Vannes.
