A representation mandate spanning five destinations

MAIA has been appointed to represent a selection of Michel Reybier Hospitality properties across all Gulf Cooperation Council countries, effective 1 September 2026. The scope combines mountain resorts, two city and lakeside addresses from the La Réserve brand, and a new collection of private villas in the Indian Ocean.

MAIA in brief
Founded in Dubai in October 2019 by Shadi Moazami, former director of press relations and communications for Jumeirah Group’s hotels in Dubai, MAIA is a communications agency specialising in travel, luxury hospitality and interior architecture. It operates between Dubai and London across three disciplines: press relations, social media and content creation. The agency is now led by Managing Director Maria Gold alongside its founder. Its track record includes properties from Maybourne Hotel Group, Six Senses, Soneva, Mandarin Oriental, Banyan Tree, Anantara, Raffles and Costa Navarino.

For the first time, MAIA is adding two Swiss mountain properties to its portfolio. The agency will handle press relations, communications, media relations and influencer partnerships in the region, with the aim of conveying each property’s identity and story to Gulf travellers.

Interlaken and Davos: the mandate’s two Alpine addresses

In Interlaken, the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa combines more than 160 years of Belle Époque heritage with the scale of a true resort, facing the Jungfrau. The hotel targets families and long stays as much as restorative breaks, with an extensive Spa Nescens and a dining offer ranging from the Michelin-starred cuisine of Radius by Stefan Beer to the Sapori trattoria.

Further into the Swiss Alps, the AlpenGold Hotel in Davos stands out for its golden silhouette. It brings together a Spa Nescens, dining ranging from the gourmet vegetarian restaurant atelierVert to the Japanese-Peruvian cuisine of La Muña, and dedicated family facilities, making it a year-round mountain resort.

La Réserve Paris and La Réserve Genève: urban and lakeside pillars

The partnership also brings La Réserve into MAIA‘s portfolio, with three destinations: La Réserve Paris, La Réserve Genève and La Réserve Private Homes Seychelles. The brand currently counts four hotels and seven private homes, a collection recently expanded with La Réserve Firenze, the group’s first Italian property.

A short walk from the Champs-Élysées, La Réserve Paris presents itself as a singular urban maison, far removed from the codes of traditional palace hotels. It pairs this intimacy with a gastronomic signature, Le Gabriel, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, and a Spa Nescens designed as a discreet retreat in the heart of the capital.

On the shores of Lake Geneva, La Réserve Genève offers a resort experience on the city’s doorstep, connected in summer by the Motoscafo, the hotel’s own boat. Inspired by the spirit of an African lodge, the property features an extensive Spa Nescens, indoor and outdoor pools, the Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant Tsé Fung, the travel-inspired restaurant Le Loti and a Kids’ Club.

The Seychelles: a new stop in the Indian Ocean

Due to open in October, La Réserve Private Homes Seychelles will bring the brand’s philosophy to the Indian Ocean. Located on the island of Praslin, it will comprise six private villas with four to six bedrooms, adding a beach and island dimension to the collection.

This serviced-residence format extends an approach the group has already pursued in the Alps, notably with the opening of a La Réserve Private Home chalet in Val d’Isère.

An ecosystem spanning hospitality, wine and preventive health

Together, these properties open the door to the wider world of Michel Reybier Hospitality, built over more than two decades around the values of excellence, authenticity and simplicity. City addresses, lakeside retreats, mountain resorts, vineyards and now Seychelles beaches make up a portfolio in which each destination retains its own identity.

Gastronomy, wellbeing, sport, culture and oenology underpin the whole, the last of these reflecting the group’s winemaking roots through estates such as Cos d’Estournel. This ecosystem was further strengthened this year with the acquisition of Château de Sacy in Champagne.

The wellness offer draws on the medical expertise of Nescens, a Swiss brand specialising in preventive health and ‘better-ageing’, whose approach aims to help people live longer, healthier lives.

Our view | By entrusting its regional representation to a specialist agency, Michel Reybier Hospitality is structuring its presence among a Gulf clientele known for long, family-oriented, high-spend stays, particularly during the European summer season. The choice of properties, all of which showcase spa, family offering and gastronomy, directly matches these expectations.
