Minor Hotels, an international hotel group present worldwide as owner, operator and investor, has signed a management agreement with Trading Construction Works Organization for the Avani+ Hanoi. The property, a new-build project, will comprise 310 rooms and will be located in the Bach Mai neighbourhood, at the heart of the Vietnamese capital.
A hotel integrated into the Hinode City mixed-use development
The opening, scheduled for 2028, is part of a larger urban development led by Hinode City, which will include a new lifestyle shopping centre as well as 1,099 residential apartments and serviced units. The site sits at the intersection of Minh Khai and Kim Nguu streets, in a lively, well-connected urban setting ten minutes by car from the Old Quarter.
This central location positions the Avani+ Hanoi to capture a mixed clientele – business travellers, long-stay guests and leisure visitors – in a market where several international brands are currently strengthening their presence in the capital.
A strategic entry into the Vietnamese capital
This signing marks Minor Hotels’ first foray into Hanoi and extends the group’s development into one of Vietnam’s principal metropolitan areas. The group already operates four properties in the country under its Anantara and Avani brands – the Anantara Hoi An Resort, the Anantara Mui Ne Resort, the Anantara Quy Nhon Villas and the Avani Quy Nhon Resort – as well as its luxury train carriages, The Vietage by Anantara.
Other international groups have recently stepped up their presence in the Vietnamese capital, among them SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, which signed its first city hotel in Hanoi and Radisson Hotel Group, which is preparing to open its first property in the capital .
An offering positioned in the premium lifestyle segment
The hotel will showcase the design identity and energy characteristic of the Avani brand, with facilities including an indoor pool and deck, a fitness centre, all-day dining and specialty restaurants, as well as meeting and function spaces.
A diversified local partner
The Avani+ Hanoi and the Hinode City mixed-use project are among the most recent developments by Trading Construction Works Organization, a diversified group active in real estate, industrial manufacturing and energy. The agreement was concluded through its subsidiary, Gerbera-II Hospitality One Member Company Limited.
