Alila Hotels & Resorts, the luxury brand within the Hyatt portfolio, announces the appointment of Nebi Ozan Ozdemir as Cluster General Manager of Alila Hinu Bay and Alila Jabal Akhdar, bringing the brand’s two Omani resorts together under unified leadership.
Following two successful years leading Alila Hinu Bay, Nebi Ozan Ozdemir will continue to lead this coastal property in southern Dhofar, while extending his leadership to Alila Jabal Akhdar, an acclaimed mountain sanctuary in the Al Hajar range and winner of the Condé Nast Traveller Triple Crown Award. This expanded remit marks an important step in strengthening Alila’s presence in the Sultanate, building a more connected Omani portfolio defined by thoughtful luxury, considered experiences and deep local roots.
During his two years at Alila Hinu Bay, Nebi Ozan Ozdemir worked to strengthen the property’s positioning as a destination-driven retreat, with a focus on personalised service, distinctive dining, wellness, Alila Moments and meaningful connections to Dhofar’s culture, landscapes and communities. This next chapter will see him bring the same approach to Alila Jabal Akhdar, where dramatic mountain scenery, Omani heritage, adventure, wellness and design combine to create one of the region’s most memorable luxury experiences.
His expanded remit brings together two contrasting expressions of Oman: Alila Hinu Bay, set between the Arabian Sea and the Dhofar mountains, and Alila Jabal Akhdar, perched in the Al Hajar mountains. From coast to mountain, he will oversee strategy, guest experience, commercial performance, brand positioning, operations and talent development across both properties.
Nebi Ozan Ozdemir said Oman is a destination of extraordinary contrast and depth, from the peaceful shores of Hinu Bay to the dramatic heights of Jabal Akhdar. He said he was honoured to lead these two remarkable Alila resorts and to work with the teams to create journeys that are personal, authentic and deeply connected to place.
Nebi Ozan Ozdemir brings extensive experience in luxury hospitality, multi-property leadership and dining excellence. He most recently held the position of multi-property Manager for Absheron Hotel Group, in Azerbaijan, having previously led the Six Senses Kocataş Mansions in Istanbul as General Manager. His experience across the MENA region includes senior leadership roles at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and at the W Doha.
