An appointment at the heart of the asset management platform

Noble Investment Group announced on 24 September 2026 the appointment of Nehali Patel as Director of Asset Management. Based in Atlanta, she will help steer asset performance across a portfolio of more than 200 hotels as the group continues to scale up its institutional investment platform.

She will work with Noble‘s operating teams across a multi-brand portfolio, with responsibility for revenue growth, operational efficiency and value creation at individual asset level.

A career built in hotel operations

Nehali Patel has more than twenty years’ experience in hotel operations and portfolio strategy. She spent six years at Marriott International, from 2011 to 2017, as a General Manager in the Atlanta area.

In 2017 she joined PeachState Hospitality as Director of Operations, becoming Regional Manager in 2018, a role she held until 2022. She then moved to TPG Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Operations, overseeing the performance of a national hotel portfolio, before joining Noble in September 2026.

For Steven Nicholas, managing principal and head of asset management at Noble, her profile stands out for its strength in execution. He said Nehali Patel had demonstrated her ability to turn operational discipline into measurable results, from hotel openings through to portfolio-wide gains in revenue and guest satisfaction, adding that it is precisely this operational rigour that turns strategy into cash flow.

Nehali Patel, for her part, highlighted the group’s model, explaining that what sets Noble apart is the link between investment discipline and execution at the level of each individual asset. She said she looked forward to working alongside the team to improve performance across the entire portfolio.

Noble, a hospitality investment specialist

Founded in 1993, Noble is an alternative asset manager investing exclusively in travel and hospitality. It manages more than $5 billion in assets, or around €4.3 billion, on behalf of institutional investors including public pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurers and wealth managers.

Its vertically integrated platform brings together investment, asset management, design and development, and operations. The group targets upscale select-service, premium extended-stay and branded long-stay accommodation. Recent months have illustrated this strategy, with the launch of its 10th StudioRes hotel with Marriott and the acquisition of 31 Sonesta Simply Suites hotels from Service Properties Trust. Noble features in PERE’s ranking of the world’s top 200 investment managers.

Analysis – Entrusting asset management to an executive with an operations background reflects a broader trend among hotel investors: bringing financial analysis closer to operations on the ground. The same trend can be seen in Stanislas Lethu’s arrival at Groupe BMF.
