A broader leadership structure under the banner of “Progress = Change”

PRIMESTAR Group announced on 30 September 2026 a reorganisation of its Executive Leadership Team. Two positions on the management board have been filled, the Operations division has been restructured and several executives from within the group have been promoted.

The multi-brand operator reports more than 4,900 rooms across the major cities of continental Europe and works with several leading international brands. Among its openings is the largest Hampton by Hilton in continental Europe, with 355 rooms, in Vienna.

Anke Bogansky to lead Finance and HR

Anke Bogansky has been appointed Managing Director Finance and HR with effect from 1 October 2026. She will now oversee the group’s finance and human resources functions.

As CFO, she has spent recent months leading the introduction of AI-based reporting across PRIMESTAR Group. Her new role is intended to allow her to take this work further.

Björn Wilkens recruited for development and asset management

Björn Wilkens will join the group on 1 November 2026 as Managing Director Development and Asset Management. He joins from property developer BECKEN.

He will be responsible for developing and closing new projects, with two priorities: strengthening the portfolio in Poland and rolling out the June brand. The Polish market already has a dedicated platform, Prime Griffin Hotels, a 50/50 joint venture launched in June 2026 with Griffin Capital Partners.

The group’s integrated brand platform, June Hotels, comprises June SIX (urban boutique hotels), June Stay (long-stay accommodation), WorX (workspaces) and June Lux. The portfolio currently includes properties in Berlin, Hanover, on Lake Garda and in Salzburg, with further European destinations announced.

Operations and Technology under single leadership

With PRIMESTAR since 2023, Martin Gotschewski has been appointed authorised signatory (Prokurist) and Head of Operations as of 1 October 2026. He now oversees both operations and technology.

Ronald Giese, for his part, remains Managing Director Commercial. He continues to support all functions with one central objective: growth in average daily rate (ADR).

A team structured for the growth phase

For Dr Roland Rausch, Chairman and owner of PRIMESTAR Group, the new organisation reflects the group’s motto: “Progress = Change – under this motto, we are broadening and strengthening our leadership team. Anke Bogansky and Martin Gotschewski have earned their new roles, and with Björn Wilkens we welcome a recognised developer and a Head of Development for our growth agenda.”

He adds: “The tracks have been laid, the direction is clear – now it is about moving the train forward together.”

The combination of internal promotions and an external hire focused on development illustrates the shift of an operator that now intends to drive part of its growth itself, notably through its own brand and the Polish market. The group’s “travel.work.live.” concept combines accommodation offerings, digital efficiency and sustainability, aimed at travellers and institutional partners alike.
