Red Sea Global, developer of The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations, is structuring its marine business. Announcing from Riyadh, the group has launched Yachting Network, a marina and yacht club operator that brings all of its maritime services together within a single management company. The new entity is aimed at yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crews.
An AMAALA–Shura corridor under a single contract
From winter 2026, private and charter yachts cruising Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast will be able to navigate the AMAALA–Shura corridor under a single berthing contract. The arrangement opens up access to 278 berths across two marinas.
AMAALA Marina, part of AMAALA Yacht Club, offers 119 berths for vessels of up to 120 metres. Shura Island Marina has 159, for the same maximum length. Further marinas and anchorages are set to join the network in 2027.
Two hubs anchored in RSG’s destinations
Located some 1,300 nautical miles from Monaco via the Suez Canal – nearly 2,400 kilometres – AMAALA Yacht Club is positioning itself as the gateway to the Red Sea. It serves AMAALA, RSG’s ultra-luxury wellness destination, where openings have followed in quick succession in recent weeks, including Nammos Resort AMAALA, the brand’s first hotel worldwide.
Billed as the Kingdom’s largest island marina, Shura Marina is the network’s second hub. It offers direct access to Shura Island, at the heart of The Red Sea destination, home to a series of luxury resorts operated by international brands.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said the launch of Yachting Network marked an important step in establishing the Red Sea as a destination for the international yachting community. He explained that it would enable the group to offer yacht owners and charter guests a connected experience along the coast, and give captains and crews greater simplicity on the ground, with berthing and marine services coordinated within a single network. The objective, he added, is to make cruising between destinations as seamless as possible, with the level of service guests expect.
Operating standards and environmental framework
Yachting Network’s operating standards will incorporate the Saudi Red Sea Authority’s code, as well as the environmental approach led by Corallium, AMAALA’s marine life institute, which was already central to the destination’s coral conservation strategy highlighted at the opening of Rosewood AMAALA.
Red Sea Global is a member of ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations), the Leisure Marine Association and The Yacht Harbour Association. These affiliations are intended to ensure service and operating levels in line with industry standards across all its facilities.
An integrated developer serving Vision 2030
Red Sea Global describes itself as a vertically integrated real estate developer active in tourism, residential, experiences, infrastructure, transport, healthcare and services. The Red Sea has been welcoming guests since 2023, Thuwal Private Retreat opened in 2024 and AMAALA received its first visitors in 2026.
The group also led the redevelopment of Al Wajh International Airport, upgrading the existing terminal and building a new international terminal. The airport officially reopened in May 2026.
Owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), RSG is part of Saudi Arabia’s drive for economic diversification. Following the creation of dedicated experience entities, such as the one operating the ADRENA adventure district, Yachting Network reflects the group’s determination to operate in-house the service components that surround its hospitality offering.
