Four brands, one commitment to consistent delivery

In her new role, Sophie Moyano will work with hotel teams across France to ensure that brand promises are translated into tangible experiences at property level.

Her remit covers four brands with distinct market positions: Pullman, TRIBE, Handwritten Collection and greet.

The challenge is to preserve each brand’s individual identity while supporting hotels in implementing their standards, programmes and guest experience initiatives.

This responsibility extends across the entire guest journey, from reception areas and guestrooms to food and beverage, breakfast services and digital solutions.

Sophie Moyano summarised her new responsibilities in her professional announcement:

“Bringing our brands’ DNA and the experiences they promise to life throughout the hotel.”

Performance is also central to the role, with the objective of measuring how effectively brand commitments are reflected in the experiences delivered to guests.

A natural progression within Accor

Before taking up her new position, Sophie Moyano had served as Brand Manager Premium France & Mediterranean since January 2023.

In this capacity, she supported hotels across the French and Southern European networks with communications, marketing initiatives and the local implementation of their brand identities.

She was notably involved in organising Pullman Happenings events, developing partnerships and creating content designed to strengthen brand visibility and identity.

Her career at Accor has also included several complementary responsibilities:

  • Brand Marketing Manager Pullman, from January 2022.
  • Brand Content Manager Luxury/Premium, from October 2020 to August 2023, covering brands including Sofitel, MGallery and Pullman.
  • Brand Content Manager Thalassa Sea & Spa, from January 2020 to August 2023.
  • Brand Event Manager Thalassa Sea & Spa, from December 2018 to January 2020.

These positions, some of which overlapped, enabled her to develop expertise in content strategy, public relations, partnerships, events and brand communications.

Previous experience in international events management

Before joining Accor, Sophie Moyano built extensive experience in professional event organisation and marketing at Elsevier Health Solutions – International.

She notably served as Head of Exhibitions EMEALA between June 2016 and January 2020, having previously spent more than fifteen years managing conferences in France.

Her responsibilities included coordinating international exhibitions and conferences, budget management, monitoring performance indicators, negotiating partnerships and managing teams.

Earlier in her career, she worked for L’Étudiant, part of Roularta Media Group, promoting exhibitions.

Sophie Moyano holds a maîtrise in Economic and Social Administration (AES), specialising in marketing and commerce, from the University of Orléans.

From brand marketing to operational implementation in hotels

This appointment illustrates an important distinction within hotel group structures: the difference between defining a brand and implementing it consistently in day-to-day hotel operations.

The role of Brand Delivery Manager extends beyond communications and commercial visibility. It involves supporting operational teams to ensure that brand standards, programmes and differentiating features are effectively implemented.

This approach is particularly important across a portfolio encompassing concepts as different as Pullman, TRIBE, Handwritten Collection and greet.

Guest expectations, property characteristics and operating models vary considerably between these brands.

Sophie Moyano’s role will therefore be to help ensure a coherent experience within each brand while preserving the individual characteristics of the properties and brands concerned.

LTH Analysis | Putting the brand promise to the operational test

This career development highlights a fundamental challenge for multi-brand hotel groups: their ability to translate marketing positioning into a measurable guest experience.

Across networks comprising properties with different configurations and operating models, a consistent guest experience cannot depend solely on written standards.

It requires support for hotel teams, local adoption of brand programmes and continuous attention to performance.

Sophie Moyano’s transition from Brand Manager to Brand Delivery Manager reflects precisely this connection between brand strategy and operational execution.

For Accor, the challenge is to bring four distinct brand identities to life while strengthening consistency across its French hotel network.
