An organisation built around asset classes
Nhood announced on 24 September 2026 a new organisation for its Capital Markets business in France. Each major real estate asset class now has its own dedicated specialists, and an M&A Advisory practice completes the set-up. The aim is to strengthen the team’s sector coverage and its ability to support investors in their acquisition, disposal and value-creation strategies across the country.
The whole operation is led by Federico Valentini, Global Head of Capital Markets Brokerage and M&A Advisory. The Retail desk is headed by Myriam Moullé and Alexandre De Sousa, the Offices desk by Cécile Debouzie and the Industrial & Logistics desk by Guillaume Simon. Ian Kayanakis leads the M&A Advisory practice.
Andreas Ignatevossian to head the Hospitality & Living desk
For hotels and managed residential assets, Nhood has entrusted the Hospitality & Living desk to Andreas Ignatevossian. Bringing these two segments together under a single area of expertise follows an approach now common among investment advisers, who increasingly treat operationally driven income assets as one category.
For each transaction, this organisation is designed to mobilise dedicated sector expertise while combining the skills needed for analysis, sourcing and mandate execution. The French team also includes six Analysts and Senior Analysts, described as essential to executing mandates and to the quality of the deliverables provided to clients.
A platform designed on a European scale
In addition to its Paris office, Nhood has Brokerage and M&A Advisory teams in Italy, led by Dario Ferraina, and on the Iberian Peninsula, led by Pedro Rizo. The group states that its Capital Markets business also covers Luxembourg and Portugal, for acquisitions, disposals, financing, joint-venture structuring and M&A.
Federico Valentini said that the real estate investment market is moving towards greater selectivity and expertise. According to him, investors today are looking for partners able to offer a detailed understanding of assets, in-depth knowledge of markets and access to the best counterparties. He added that Nhood’s ambition is to build a Capital Markets platform founded on strong sector expertise, enhanced analytical capability and a European approach.
Hotels within the scope of a €17.3bn operator
Nhood describes itself as an international real estate solutions operator focused on urban regeneration. Its 1,500 employees manage €17.3bn in assets across nearly 1,000 sites in Europe and Africa, on behalf of more than 300 clients. Among the uses the group says it develops in its mixed-use projects are hotels, alongside retail, housing, offices and leisure.
In recent months, the group has also expanded its hospitality capabilities. According to the trade press, Nhood became the sole shareholder of Tomorrow Food at the end of 2025, a food & beverage consultancy whose clients include players in the hotel and restaurant sectors.
Analysis – This reorganisation comes as institutional investors say they are ready to do deals in European hotels, as Savills noted in its review of European hotel investment in 2026. In France, retail investment vehicles such as the SCPI Atream Hôtels, which has just acquired its first hotel on the Costa Blanca with Pierre & Vacances, also show that demand for hotel assets is broadening. Against this backdrop, having an identified Hospitality & Living expertise is becoming a selling point when competing for disposal and acquisition mandates.
This move fits within the more moderate growth that CBRE expects for the French and European hotel market in 2026. In such a market, buyer selectivity carries greater weight in transactions.
