IHG Hotels & Resorts opens The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula, Vignette Collection, marking the introduction of its collection brand to India and South West Asia. The 145-room property sits opposite the Shivalik Hills, in the heart of Panchkula, within Chandigarh’s Tricity region, close to attractions such as Morni Hills, Sukhna Lake, the Rock Garden and Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex.

Vignette Collection, IHG’s first collection brand, which passed the milestone of 50 open and pipeline hotels three years after its launch, now comprises 34 hotels across 17 countries, with 45 more properties to come.

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia at IHG, described this opening as a defining moment for the brand in India, a luxury and lifestyle market seen as holding considerable potential.

The hotel offers contemporary rooms and suites equipped with smart-home technology, along with several dining venues, including Sapio for all-day dining, Cabinet V for Indian and European cuisine, artisanal bakery Wakerie, cocktail bar Jigger and rooftop venue Sky VI. The property also features a spa, a lounge, a gym, a pool and around 2,800 square metres of event space, including the Aura Grand Ballroom.

The property hosts Venu-Nada every evening, its signature ritual combining traditional oil lamps with a live flute and tabla performance. As part of its Means For Good programme, the hotel partners with non-profit organisation Chhoti Si Asha in support of disadvantaged women, by sourcing locally made products for guest amenities.
