Andermatt Hospitality Management has entrusted Toan Ly with responsibility for its group-wide commercial strategy, effective 1 November 2026. A former member of The Chedi Andermatt's opening team, he returns to the Uri resort after leading the commercial transformation of Six Senses Crans-Montana. His mission: to support revenue growth and establish Andermatt as a four-season destination.

Karim von Alvensleben took up the role of Vice President Hotel Projects at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore, in September 2026. A graduate of the École hôtelière de Lausanne and a pre-opening specialist, he joins from Minor Hotels, where he led the launch of Avani in Vientiane. He previously opened major integrated resorts in Macau for Wynn and Sands China.

Minor Hotels has entrusted Ravi Ganglani with the joint leadership of Idyllic Resort and Iravae Resort, on the island of Koh Lipe, effective 21 September 2026. With the group since 2012, he is tasked with bringing both properties into Colbert Collection, Minor Hotels' premium soft brand, which continues its rollout in Thailand.

Indian group SUJÁN, a specialist in conservation-led luxury hospitality, has appointed Thomas Maechler Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 October 2026. The former owner of the Beau-Rivage in Neuchâtel and ex-general manager of La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich takes charge of the group's operations just as it enters Africa with the acquisition of two camps in Zambia.

Eklo has announced the appointment of Ingrid Boutabba as General Manager of Eklo Paris Porte de Versailles. With more than twenty years of experience spanning hotels, food & beverage and lifestyle venues, she takes the helm of the group's Paris flagship, which champions an accessible and responsible model of lifestyle hospitality.

Arabella Hospitality SE has set up Arabella Hospitality Italia S.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary based in Milan, which Nicola Foschini has headed since 1 October 2026. A few days earlier, the Munich-based group announced it would take over operation of the future Moxy Munich South, its first hotel in the south of the Bavarian capital. The two announcements reflect a stronger position in its home market and the opening of a new front in Southern Europe.

LVMH Hotel Management has appointed Vincent Billiard as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He also sits on the Executive Committee. Managing Director of Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel since 2020, the EHL-educated hotelier takes operational and commercial oversight of the Cheval Blanc Maisons as the LVMH group's luxury hotel brand continues to expand.

Australian group EVT has appointed Shannon Craig to lead Atura Oran Park in south-west Sydney. She retains her role as Area General Manager for New South Wales. Her appointment comes in the midst of the pre-opening phase, with the hotel due to open in late October 2026.

Maria Strati has joined Shedir Collection, the Rome-based luxury hotel group, as Chief Commercial Officer with effect from 1 October 2026. The former General Manager of J.K. Place Roma and Casa J.K. Place Roma arrives as the group opens a new chapter under Simone Giorgi, CEO and Executive Asset Manager.

On 1 October 2026, Oetker Hotels announced a series of internal promotions at the top of its leadership: Duarte Bon de Sousa becomes Chief Operating Officer and joins the Executive Committee, Virginie Saint-Laurent is named Chief People & Culture Officer and Simon Neggers Chief Commercial Officer. The reshuffle comes as the collection, which entered the US market this year, prepares to open Le Mas Bellevue in Saint-Tropez in June 2027 and launch its first branded residences.

Joelle Edwards-Tonks takes up her role as CEO of Sunlife Mauritius on 1 October 2026, succeeding François Eynaud, who led the group for seven years. The President and Creative Director of the Lifestyle Group sees his remit extended across the group's entire global portfolio, as Hyatt sets out its ambition to make each of its brands more distinctive for guests and owners alike.
