André Pereira announces the start of a new professional chapter within Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure, as Cluster Hotel Manager of The Pearl, The Anchor and The Residences, on the Tróia Peninsula. He will oversee a 600-key portfolio, in what he describes as one of Portugal’s most distinctive destinations, just under an hour from Lisbon.
In his message announcing the appointment, André Pereira thanked Miguel Afonso dos Santos and Vitor Santos for their trust and this new opportunity, saying he looks forward to working alongside a team he describes as outstanding. He also highlighted Tróia’s character as a true natural paradise, a peninsula accessible from Setúbal via a short ferry crossing, and his wish to contribute to its growth and profile.
This appointment follows on from his career within Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure, which he joined in January 2023 as Hotel Manager of the Vale d’El Rei, in Lagoa, in the Algarve, a role he held until August 2025. He then took over as General Manager of the Baia Madeira Hotel and the Garajau Madeira Hotel, in Funchal, from September 2025 to July 2026, before being promoted to this new role of Cluster Hotel Manager in Tróia.
Before joining Details, André Pereira spent more than three years as Rooms Division Director at the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort, part of the Anantara Hotels & Resorts group, following five years as Assistant Manager Rooms Division at the Tivoli Victoria, within Tivoli Hotels & Resorts. His hospitality career began as a Front Desk Receptionist at Evidência Hotéis, complemented by internship experience in front office and food and beverage, notably at the Palácio Estoril Hotel, Golf & Wellness.
André Pereira holds a degree in hotel management from the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda and a postgraduate specialisation in hotel management and administration from the Universidade do Algarve, complemented by a certification in hotel real estate investment and asset management.
