The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation announces the arrival of Brune Poirson on its Board of Directors. A strategic advisor to organisations undergoing transformation, she brings experience spanning public policy, corporate sustainability and international environmental cooperation.
French Secretary of State for Ecological and Inclusive Transition from 2017 to 2020, Brune Poirson championed the Anti-Waste Law for a Circular Economy and represented France in international climate and biodiversity negotiations. She subsequently served as Chief Sustainability Officer and Executive Committee member at Accor, where she led the Group’s social and environmental impact strategy across nearly 110 countries, until her departure in 2025.
“Her appointment strengthens the range of expertise represented within the Foundation’s governance. Her understanding of environmental policy, organisational transformation and private-sector mobilisation will contribute to the Foundation’s collective work in support of planetary health,” the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation states in its announcement.
Since leaving Accor, Brune Poirson has founded Udaan Advisory, a strategic consultancy advising executives and boards on geopolitical, environmental and social transformations. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Getlink, a member of its Ethics & ESG and Nominations & Remuneration committees, as well as on the Board of Directors of Alfred Hôtels. A graduate of the London School of Economics and the Harvard Kennedy School, she also taught at HEC Paris in 2025.
