Christian Poda has been appointed Vice President of Operations, Europe and North Africa at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. In this role, he will oversee strategic operations, brand elevation and regional development for the Fairmont and Raffles portfolios across Europe and North Africa.
Christian Poda joins Fairmont after more than ten years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Since May 2022, he had held the position of Regional Vice President & General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, an appointment LTH covered at the time. He had previously led the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing as General Manager from April 2019 to May 2022.
This new chapter marks a return for Christian Poda to Europe and North Africa, a region where Accor, parent company of Fairmont and Raffles, continues to pursue sustained development, between new addresses and recently announced investments in North Africa.
