Siamese & Kew Green Hotel Management announces the appointment of Erik Lannge as General Manager of TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39, a lifestyle hotel within the Accor family, managed by the Siamese & Kew Green joint venture, formed through the partnership between Kew Green Hotels and Siamese Asset. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s operations, commercial strategy, guest experience and team development, with the aim of positioning TRIBE among Bangkok’s leading lifestyle destinations.
Scott Walton, Managing Director of Siamese & Kew Green Hotel Management, praised Erik Lannge for a refreshing combination of commercial acumen, operational excellence and genuine passion for lifestyle hospitality. He noted that Lannge’s ability to unite teams and create memorable guest experiences made him particularly well suited to TRIBE and the Group’s vision for the property’s future.
Erik Lannge had held the position of General Manager at the dusitD2 Khao Yai since May 2024, a Dusit Hotels and Resorts property overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Khao Yai site, two hours’ drive from Bangkok. There, he launched several dining concepts, including Kuni Kuni and Jamii, opened an eco-villa cluster called Asili Village, and delivered revenue and gross operating profit results above budget targets within the first eight months of taking up the role.
Before Dusit, he led the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, a five-star, 455-room property in the heart of Bangkok, from December 2022 to May 2024. His career across Southeast Asia also includes General Manager roles at the Baitong Hotel and Resort Phnom Penh and the Hôtel KVL – Vattanac Properties in the Cambodian capital, as well as a consulting assignment for the reopening and repositioning of the Andaman Beach Hotel Phuket. He also served as Cluster and then Area General Manager for the Cross Hotels & Resorts group, across the X2 Kui Buri, X2 Le Bayburi and X2 Koh Samui properties, and began his hospitality career in Thailand as Director of Food and Beverage with AccorHotels, at the Novotel Bangkok Siam Square and the Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit.
Originally from Sweden, where he held several management positions in retail and fast food before relocating to Thailand, Erik Lannge holds an MBA from Bangkok University as well as a hospitality management diploma obtained in Sweden. He speaks Thai, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and English.
