IHG Hotels & Resorts announces the signing of the Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach, a new-build beachfront resort, in partnership with Natai Venture Co., Ltd. The 150-room property, due to open in 2028, marks the Kimpton brand’s arrival in Phang Nga, an emerging coastal destination in Thailand.

This signing strengthens IHG’s presence in southern Thailand, where the Group already operates two acclaimed Kimpton properties, the Kimpton Kitalay Samui and the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, alongside a pipeline of future addresses in Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Khao Yai and Pattaya. This is the second hotel signed by IHG in Phang Nga province, following the InterContinental Phang-Nga Bay Resort, also expected in 2028.

Pathana Jitsaereetham, Director, Development, Thailand, at IHG Hotels & Resorts, noted that this signing confirms the Group’s confidence in the destination’s long-term tourism potential, driven by infrastructure investment and improving regional connectivity, notably via the future Andaman International Airport in Phang Nga, targeted to open in 2032.

The Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach will offer rooms, suites and villas within a tropical setting, with several dining concepts, a spa, pools, a gym, a kids’ club and flexible event spaces. Located on Natai Beach, 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the property is being developed with Capstone Asset, shareholder and development partner on the project, also behind the Kimpton Kitalay Samui, Asia’s first Kimpton resort. IHG currently operates 42 hotels across 11 brands in Thailand, with 39 more properties in the pipeline.

Hilton has announced the signing of the London Bridge Hotel, which will join the lifestyle brand Tapestry Collection by Hilton under a franchise agreement with Gama Holdings.
