International Workspace Group (IWG) announces the acquisition of Wojo, Accor’s coworking business, which now becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group. The deal expands IWG’s network, which includes the Regus, Spaces, HQ, Signature and Stop & Work brands, by a further 186 workspaces.
Wojo was previously held as a joint venture between Accor and Bouygues Immobilier. Launched with the ambition of turning Accor hotels into hubs for nomadic workers, the brand established itself with a positioning combining upscale flexible workspaces with a hospitality-driven environment, before expanding beyond France, with recent openings in West Africa.
For IWG, this acquisition also marks the start of a long-term relationship with Accor, opening up new opportunities to develop professionally managed flexible workspaces within its hotel network, as demand for hybrid working and bleisure travel continues to grow. The move builds on collaborations already under way between the two groups, such as the agreement signed between Spaces and the Accor Arena for the operation of workspaces.

He added that Wojo had built a strong reputation by combining flexible workspaces with a first-class hospitality offering, making it a natural complement to IWG’s global platform.
Already present in more than 120 countries with more than 6,000 sites under contract, IWG thereby strengthens its leadership position in the French flexible workspace market, one of the largest in Europe. The Group aims to create a new revenue stream for hoteliers while expanding its global network, at the intersection of hybrid working and hospitality.
