Radisson Hotel Group announces the signing of the Radisson Hotel Ongole, marking the Group’s entry into the city of Ongole with what will become its first internationally branded hotel.

In his post, he noted that India’s growth trajectory was increasingly being driven by dynamic tier-2 and tier-3 cities, where improving infrastructure, sustained economic activity and evolving traveller expectations are creating significant opportunities for the development of organised hospitality. Ongole, he said, is precisely one such destination, with a diverse commercial base and growing demand for quality accommodation and internationally standard event infrastructure.

This signing confirms Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy of supporting the development of India’s secondary cities, where the Group sees a durable growth driver for its various brands, as these markets gain economic and tourism maturity.
