Tito Di Benedetto takes over as General Manager of the Baglioni Hotel Luna Venezia, the iconic five-star property of Baglioni Hotels & Resorts – The Palace Company, located just steps from St. Mark’s Square and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World network. The appointment marks a new milestone in a career built on more than twenty years of experience in international hospitality, with a strong specialisation in pre-openings and luxury hotel management.
Before arriving in Venice, Tito Di Benedetto led, as Cluster General Manager, the pre-opening project for two Marriott properties in Siena, having previously spearheaded the launch of Mangia’s Brucoli Sicily, Autograph Collection by Marriott, one of Sicily’s largest resorts with more than 400 rooms. He had earlier been part of the opening team for the Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Resort, in Duino Aurisina.
His career also includes several management roles at the DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste, where he supported the pre-opening and subsequent management of the property, as well as a long tenure within the Hilton group, holding senior positions in Venice, Malta, London and Milan, culminating in the role of Food & Beverage Director at the Hilton Milan. He began his career as a Front Desk Agent at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice.
This appointment comes as the Baglioni Hotel Luna completes a multi-year renovation programme covering its rooms, common areas, dining offering and historic salons, including the celebrated Marco Polo Ballroom, adorned with 18th-century frescoes from the Tiepolo school. With this appointment, the property is banking on a manager with solid international experience and an in-depth understanding of upscale hospitality.
