The Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel has officially joined Handwritten Collection, Accor’s portfolio of independent hotels celebrating authentic stories and passionate hosts. With its 2,884 rooms, the property becomes the largest hotel in Accor’s global network and marks the Group’s arrival on the Las Vegas Strip, one of the world’s most iconic entertainment destinations.
By joining Handwritten Collection, a brand that has already grown its global estate to more than 40 operating hotels this year, the Treasure Island now benefits from Accor’s global distribution platform and its ALL Accor loyalty programme, while retaining the identity that has defined it for more than thirty years. A new campaign, “The Treasure of the Las Vegas Strip,” accompanies this integration, showcasing the resort’s entertainment, dining and hospitality experiences.
Opened in 1993, the Treasure Island draws inspiration from Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel and retains iconic elements of its adventure theming, including full-scale replicas of 17th-century pirate ships anchored in the Sirens’ Cove lagoon, at the entrance to the resort. Mauro Rial, Chief Operating Officer, Accor North & Hispanic Americas, described the deal as an important milestone for Accor in the Americas, with the property retaining its distinctive character within the Group’s ecosystem.
Located in the heart of the Strip, the hotel offers convenient access to the city’s main attractions and is connected via walkways to Fashion Show Las Vegas and the Grand Canal Shoppes. It features a 24-hour casino, a sports betting area, a tropical outdoor pool, a spa with private treatment rooms, a showroom, and extensive meeting and convention space. The property has hosted Mystère, an original Cirque du Soleil production, for more than thirty years, with more than 13,600 performances to date.
The dining offering includes Phil’s Steak House, Gilley’s BBQ, the Golden Circle Sports Bar and Pizzeria Francesco’s, among others, with two new restaurants, Mexican and Italian, planned to open in 2027. The hotel, certified Four Green Globes by the Green Building Initiative for its environmental commitments, also supports the local community through a partnership with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada.
