Vertu Hotels and Resorts announces the development of VERTU Residences Algarve, a mixed-use hospitality and residential destination in southern Portugal, designed to redefine upscale coastal living in the region. Developed under the VERTU Residences brand, this project marks a new milestone in Vertu Hospitality Group’s international expansion, reflecting its vision of intimate luxury destinations where refined architecture, authentic living and exceptional hospitality come together.

Located in the Algarve region, the development will comprise up to 64 luxury residences spread across four floors, offering a balance of sea-view and mountain-view apartments with one to three bedrooms. Designed for owner-occupiers, second-home buyers and international investors, VERTU Residences Algarve will combine the privacy of premium residences with the personalised services of a soft-luxury boutique hotel.

The project will offer an exclusive lifestyle built around upscale amenities: a signature restaurant and lounge, a partner beach club, a rooftop infinity pool and panoramic bar, a wellness and fitness centre, private business lounges and concierge services inspired by Vertu Hotels and Resorts’ standards. Every element of the development has been designed around the concept of effortless luxury, combining contemporary regional architecture, sustainable building principles and the personalised hospitality experience characteristic of the Group’s brands.

“VERTU Residences Algarve will perfectly embody our long-term vision for hospitality,” said Gerald Lampaert, Founder, Owner, Chairman and CEO of Vertu Hospitality Group. “Today’s luxury residence owners are investing in far more than a home: they are seeking a lifestyle, a community and an exceptional service experience.”

The project will be developed in partnership with local developers and Vertu Hotels and Resorts, the Group’s hotel brand founded in 2015 and internationally recognised for its luxury hospitality concepts, boutique hotels, branded residences and hotel services. A full-scale model residence is currently being prepared to offer future owners, investors and hospitality partners an immersive preview of the project’s architecture, interior design, finishes and hospitality concept. Details on architecture, sustainability, sales launch and construction timeline will be communicated in the coming months.
