Following Bénédicte di Geronimo’s (President of the CMT since 2021) decision to step down as President of the Comité Martiniquais du Tourisme (CMT), the President of the Executive Council of the Collectivité Territoriale de Martinique (CTM), Serge Letchimy, has entrusted the presidency of the body to Alexandre Ventadour, a territorial councillor.

According to the local authority’s statement, the choice of Alexandre Ventadour followed naturally from the responsibilities he already holds in economic development, attractiveness, tourism and ecological transitions. The appointment is intended to ensure continuity and consolidate the strategy pursued in recent years on behalf of the Martinique destination. Serge Letchimy wished the new President every success in carrying out these new responsibilities on behalf of Martinique.

He has also chaired the economic development agency Martinique Développement since September 2021, responsible for supporting the territory’s endogenous economic development and attractiveness.

In 2016, he founded the Complay group in Fort-de-France, the first consultancy dedicated to the digital transformation of businesses based on island territories, which he led as CEO until 2021, before continuing as Director of Consulting at the Noviseas group until 2022. His earliest professional experience dates back to 2002-2005, when he led Showcase 972, a Martinique-based event communications agency targeting the 18-25 age group.
