ORA Hospitality, the luxury hospitality group founded by ORA Developers, has announced the appointment of Donia Gharib as Corporate Director of Learning & Development. Based in Dubai, she took up the role in August 2026 and will be responsible for shaping the group’s training strategy at a corporate level.

Her mandate is to establish the frameworks, systems and standards needed to support a growing portfolio, while embedding a learning culture aligned with ORA Hospitality’s vision and business objectives.

A career built within major international groups

A Mass Communication graduate of Ain Shams University (2008–2012), Donia Gharib began her hospitality career in 2013 as Training Coordinator at Novotel Cairo Airport. She was promoted to Learning and Development Manager in 2015, before joining Accor in 2018 as Learning and Guest Experience Manager in Egypt.

In January 2022, she took on the role of Learning & Quality Manager for Accor in Egypt, marking close to a decade with the French group at that point. This period saw her build recognised expertise in rolling out training programmes and supporting service culture across a multi-brand portfolio.

An expanding trajectory at Four Seasons, from Cairo to Dubai

In May 2023, Donia Gharib joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Cairo as Learning and Development Manager. Her career progressed further from August 2025, when she was appointed Senior Learning and Development Manager for the Dubai Collection, overseeing training across several of the group’s properties in the United Arab Emirates.

This internal progression, from Cairo to Dubai, reflects a broader pattern that Four Seasons encourages across its organisation, as seen in the group’s recent internal appointments in Nevis, Los Angeles and Anguilla.

Strengthened leadership at ORA Hospitality

The appointment of Donia Gharib comes a few months after that of Vincenzo Falcone as Chief Executive Officer of ORA Hospitality, effective since April 2026. The group, which describes itself as a creator of distinctive destinations rooted in art, architecture and a sense of place, continues to strengthen its leadership team at a pivotal moment in its growth.

Positioned in the ultra-luxury segment and focused on rolling out a portfolio of differentiated destinations, ORA Hospitality is placing training and talent development among the stated priorities of its new leadership.

United States | Goldman Sachs commits €351M to physical real estate with LCN Capital Partners acquisition

The Goldman Sachs Group announced on 18 August 2026 the acquisition of LCN Capital Partners, a platform specialising in sale & leaseback transactions, for a consideration of up to €351M ($410M). The deal gives Goldman Sachs Asset Management a specific area of expertise - the resale of corporate real estate while preserving its use through a long-term lease - after two years marked by high interest rates that curbed investment in physical real estate. For the hospitality sector, the acquisition is also a reminder that LCN held exclusive talks in 2025 to buy nine Silken hotels in Spain, before ultimately being outbid by Hotusa.
