Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West, a member of Radisson Individuals, marking the brand’s debut in the country. The property, positioned in the upper-upscale lifestyle segment, offers 165 rooms averaging 24 m² in size, alongside extensive meeting facilities and direct access to Greater Copenhagen’s business districts.
A strategic location on Copenhagen’s doorstep
The hotel occupies a central position in Høje-Taastrup, a few minutes’ walk from Høje Taastrup Station, one of Denmark’s most important transport hubs. Copenhagen Central Station is reachable in 18 minutes by direct train, while Copenhagen Airport lies 27.6 kilometres away — around 25 minutes by car or 40 minutes by direct rail link.
The area also offers quick access to the City2 shopping centre, five minutes on foot, and to Hedeland Nature Park, ten minutes by car. Høje Taastrup Church is an eight-minute drive away, and Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is accessible by a fifteen-minute train journey.
The Danish capital’s hotel market otherwise remains active across several segments, spanning existing-asset transactions and new international brand entries, as recently illustrated by CapMan Nordic Real Estate IV’s acquisition of the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen.
A segmented accommodation offering
The 165 rooms are divided across several categories: 67 Cozy Rooms, 48 Superior Rooms, 36 Standard Rooms, 8 Single Rooms, 4 Premium Rooms and 2 Family Rooms. Room sizes range from approximately 18 to 35 m², with the Family Rooms offering the most generous space, designed for family stays as well as groups and business travellers.
Dining, social spaces and wellness
The ground floor concentrates the hotel’s social spaces, with an integrated area combining dining, lounge, reception and bar, designed to accommodate both informal meetings and moments of relaxation. A fully equipped commercial kitchen supports daily dining operations as well as large-scale events.
Guests also have access to an on-site fitness area and parking, with easy access to the trails, lakes and open landscapes of Hedeland Nature Park, one of the region’s largest recreational areas.
A leading conference and events hub
The hotel features 724 m² of flexible event space, divided across several meeting and conference rooms that can be configured to suit guests’ needs. The largest configuration can accommodate up to 460 participants, placing the property among the region’s notable conference venues.
Its proximity to Høje Taastrup Station, direct rail links to Copenhagen and on-site parking make it a convenient meeting point for regional and international delegates alike.

Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA at Radisson Hotel Group, said the launch of the first Radisson Individuals hotel in Denmark represented an important step for the group as Danish tourism continues to grow. He added that, located in Greater Copenhagen, the Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West is ideally placed to welcome business travellers, event attendees and leisure guests seeking a convenient base near the capital.
CIC Hospitality, a growing Nordic operator
CIC Hospitality is a Nordic hotel operator and property owner based in Oslo. Founded in 2018, the company operates around thirty hotels across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany under a range of brands. The group combines hotel operations, management contracts and property ownership within an integrated, asset-backed platform.
Its technology-driven operating model claims structurally lower break-even thresholds and favours locations with predictable, low-cyclicality demand. CIC Hospitality employs more than 850 people and is targeting revenue of NOK 1 billion for 2026, equivalent to around €93 million.

Matthias Tanski, CEO of CIC Hospitality, said the company was pleased to welcome the Hoje Taastrup Hotel Copenhagen West into the Radisson Individuals family, describing it as a well-established hotel holding a strong position in Greater Copenhagen, and adding that CIC Hospitality looked forward to developing it alongside Radisson Hotel Group in the years ahead.
The property is Green Key certified, an international environmental label for the hospitality industry. Premium linen is leased rather than purchased, and furniture is reused or resold to extend its lifespan. A daily food-waste measurement scheme is also being trialled across the operator’s Danish hotels, ahead of a wider rollout.
Radisson Individuals, a brand on the rise
Launched in 2020, Radisson Individuals is an affiliation brand bringing together independent hotels, each retaining its own identity while benefiting from Radisson Hotel Group’s service philosophy. It spans three complementary segments: Radisson Individuals Premier, positioned in the upper-upscale segment; Radisson Individuals Boutique, for intimate properties; and Radisson Individuals Retreats, dedicated to nature destinations.
This growth forms part of a broader momentum for the group, which recently passed 210 openings and signings in 2025, with Radisson Individuals now present in around fifteen European and Asian markets.
Radisson Hotel Group now reports more than 1,600 hotels in operation or under development across more than 100 countries, spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Its loyalty programme, Radisson Rewards, has more than 29 million members. The group has also set a target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, based on validated Science Based Targets.
