Jamaica | H10 Hotels Repositions Ocean Eden Bay Under Its Luxury Ocean Allure Brand

Ocean Signature Resorts, a subsidiary of Spanish hotel group H10 Hotels, has announced the official launch of Ocean Allure Eden Bay in Jamaica. Rather than a new development, the project involves repositioning the former Ocean Eden Bay, a 444-suite adults-only resort. The move marks the Ocean Allure brand's entry into the Jamaican market, with enhanced services and a strengthened offering across the leisure, wellness and MICE segments.

Ocean Eden Bay becomes Ocean Allure Eden Bay

Spanish hotel group H10 Hotels, through its Caribbean portfolio Ocean Signature Resorts, is continuing its brand segmentation strategy with the repositioning of Ocean Eden Bay, located in Coral Spring on Jamaica’s northern coast.

Since 2 November 2026, the property has officially operated under the Ocean Allure Eden Bay name, a brand positioned at the upper end of the group’s all-inclusive portfolio.

Located in Trelawny parish, near Falmouth and approximately 40 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, the resort features 444 suites and caters exclusively to adults aged 18 and over.

The operation represents a commercial and brand repositioning of an existing asset. The announcement does not disclose the investment involved, the extent of any renovation work or the property’s real estate arrangements.

A repositioning built around concierge services for every guest

One of the principal changes concerns the level of service offered to guests.

Ocean Allure Eden Bay is introducing personalised concierge assistance for all 444 suites, regardless of accommodation category.

The service is designed to help guests organise activities, restaurant reservations, spa treatments and personalised experiences.

It is complemented by 24-hour in-suite dining and an enhanced welcome and arrival experience.

Tanesha Clarke, Sales and Marketing Director of Ocean Allure Eden Bay and Ocean Coral Spring, explains:

“Ocean Eden Bay has always benefited from an exceptional natural setting. Its evolution into Ocean Allure allows us to build on this asset by combining contemporary architecture, personalised attention available around the clock and Jamaican culture.”

Extending concierge services to every suite is one of the principal differentiating features highlighted by the new brand.

An enhanced and tiered all-inclusive offering

The resort is expanding its food and beverage offering around the Unlimited Culinary Experience concept, designed to provide a variety of cuisines and services throughout the day.

The property notably features six speciality restaurants and four bars, offering Japanese, Italian, Mexican, French and Jamaican cuisine, alongside seafood.

Guests can also access several dining and entertainment venues at the neighbouring Ocean Coral Spring resort.

The operating model follows a two-tier approach: enhanced service standards for all guests, complemented by additional amenities and benefits available through a higher accommodation category.

Privilege: a premium offering within the resort

The Privilege package includes additional amenities and services such as premium bedding, a pillow menu, evening turndown service, an upgraded minibar and personalised benefits.

It also provides access to exclusive areas, including a beachfront restaurant, a private lounge and designated beach and pool areas.

This segmentation enables the resort to offer several levels of service within a single all-inclusive concept.

Leisure, wellness and access to Ocean Coral Spring’s facilities

The property features the Despacio Spa Centre by Etra, including hydrotherapy facilities, saunas, steam rooms and treatment areas.

Sports facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, tennis and pickleball courts, and multi-sport facilities.

The resort also offers cultural activities, including the Soul of Jamaica dinner show, celebrating Jamaica’s musical heritage, particularly that of Bob Marley.

One of the property’s commercial advantages is its proximity to Ocean Coral Spring, whose facilities are accessible to Ocean Allure Eden Bay guests.

These include a bowling alley, water park and lazy river.

This complementary arrangement provides an expanded leisure offering while preserving an adults-only environment within the main resort.

Event facilities accommodating up to 800 participants

Ocean Allure Eden Bay is also targeting groups, incentive travel and corporate events.

The property offers facilities capable of accommodating up to 800 participants, including convention spaces, function rooms and ocean-facing terraces.

The resort therefore positions itself across several markets: couples, upscale leisure stays, weddings, private events and MICE business.

This diversification could help sustain activity outside periods of strong demand from individual leisure travellers.

An upscale repositioning aligned with Ocean Signature Resorts’ strategy

Ocean Signature Resorts comprises all-inclusive properties across several Caribbean destinations, including Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Within this portfolio, Ocean Allure represents an adults-only offering with a stronger emphasis on personalised services, dining and wellness.

The group has also incorporated the property into its Stay Green environmental programme, which covers areas including energy efficiency, reducing single-use plastics, engagement with local communities and ecosystem protection.

However, the announcement provides no quantified indicators with which to assess the property’s individual environmental performance.

LTH Analysis | Upgrading an existing asset rather than creating additional capacity

The repositioning of Ocean Eden Bay under the Ocean Allure brand illustrates a strategy of enhancing the commercial value of an existing property, without any announced increase in room capacity.

For H10 Hotels, the challenge is to strengthen the differentiation of its all-inclusive offering by extending certain upscale services to all guests, while retaining premium categories capable of supporting revenue per guest.

The proximity of Ocean Coral Spring also represents an interesting operational advantage: access to complementary facilities broadens the guest experience without requiring those amenities to be duplicated within the adults-only resort.

However, the financial success of this repositioning will depend on the ability to translate improved service standards into higher average rates and ancillary revenue, without a disproportionate increase in operating costs.

The announcement does not specify the investment undertaken, pricing objectives or expected financial performance.
