More than 20 years with Four Seasons
Maxime Regad takes over as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos in November 2026. The property is located above Kalo Livadi Bay. He joins from Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, on the Athenian Riviera, where he had served as Hotel Manager since September 2024.
Educated in France at Institut Vatel in Lyon, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Regad has spent his entire professional career with Four Seasons, spanning more than 22 years. He began at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C., through the Manager in Training programme, starting in stewarding. He subsequently became Assistant Restaurant Manager at the property.
A career built in food and beverage
His career has taken him across three continents, primarily in food and beverage operations. Following an initial period in Toronto as Room Service Manager between 2007 and 2008, he spent four years managing a restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Doha in Qatar. In 2013, he joined Four Seasons Resort Seychelles as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.
In 2016, he became Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire in the United Kingdom. He held the position for three years before returning to Toronto in 2019 to take on the same responsibilities.

From Toronto to Athens: moving into hotel operations leadership
In 2022, Maxime Regad was appointed Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, the group’s flagship property. At the time, Patrick Pollak, then General Manager of the hotel, praised his ability to lead his teams to the highest standards. He also highlighted the progressive expansion of Regad’s operational responsibilities.
In September 2024, Regad was appointed to the same position at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens. Located in Vouliagmeni, this resort opened in 2019 within the former Astir Palace and was the brand’s first property in Greece.
A 94-key resort designed as a Cycladic village
Developed in partnership with AGC Equity Partners, Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos welcomed its first guests in summer 2026. The property comprises 94 rooms, suites and villas, many featuring private pools, spread across a six-hectare cliffside site.
Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis designed the resort to resemble a traditional Mykonian village. The hotel features a private beach, two infinity pools, four restaurants and bars, and a spa with seven treatment rooms. Ryan Grande, the opening General Manager, was responsible for assembling the pre-opening team.
The Athens–Mykonos connection at the heart of Four Seasons’ Greek strategy
The group offers combined stays across its two Greek properties. Guests can travel between them in three hours by boat, 30 minutes by plane or 20 minutes by helicopter, with transfers arranged by Four Seasons. At the opening, Rainer Stampfer, President of Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts, described Mykonos as representing a new vision of luxury in the Mediterranean islands.
Analysis – By appointing an executive from Astir Palace, Four Seasons is strengthening the links between its two Greek properties as its local portfolio expands. The group has also announced a third project in the country, at Porto Heli on Hinitsa Bay. Maxime Regad’s experience in food and beverage and pre-opening operations is another advantage for a 94-key resort with four restaurants and bars.
