Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced the integration of 10 new member properties into its global portfolio between 1 April and 30 June 2026. This latest wave of additions follows on from the 20 hotels added in the first quarter of 2026, confirming a sustained pace of growth since the start of the year.

The new addresses span a wide range of destinations, from Bali to the US Virgin Islands, via Kenya, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. This geographic spread confirms the diversification strategy already seen with the 21 hotels added in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Experiences Rooted in Their Territory

“As travellers continue to seek more enriching and personalised ways to explore the world, we are proud to welcome these exceptional independent properties into our global portfolio,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, President and CEO of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. “Each one reflects a strong identity and genuine local roots, whether through thoughtful design, immersive cultural connections, innovative wellness offerings or exceptional service.”

In the US Virgin Islands, The Botany will open this winter within the Botany Bay reserve, spread across 121 hectares at the secluded western tip of St. Thomas. The property, part of the L.V.X. Collection, will offer 20 villa-style accommodations with views over turquoise waters, two swimming pools and a dining concept centred on contemporary Caribbean cuisine.

In Bali, The Meru Sanur also joins the L.V.X. Collection, with 184 suites located in “The Sanur,” Indonesia’s first special economic zone dedicated to health tourism. The property is anchored by its Taru Pramana spa, whose treatments draw on traditional Balinese healing practices.

Kenya and Europe Round Out the Portfolio

In Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, Ilora Retreats joins the Lifestyle Collection. This intimate safari camp spans 12.1 hectares of protected wilderness and comprises just 14 tented suites, with daily safaris and a cultural exchange programme with the local Maasai community.

In Belgium, Via Antwerp also joins the Lifestyle Collection in the Art Nouveau district of Zurenborg, in Antwerp. The 176-room and suite property is built around a continuous cultural programme, including exhibitions and concerts, along with a Mediterranean restaurant popular with both hotel guests and local residents.

In Lisbon, MYTHIC SANA Downtown Suites joins the Legend Collection with 48 rooms and suites housed in a restored historic building in the Baixa Pombalina district. Portugal thus confirms its appeal for upscale independent hospitality, a trend already seen with the Six Senses Comporta project, planned near the Portuguese capital.

Five further properties complete this wave of additions: Montebelo Vista Alegre Lisboa Chiado Hotel and San Clemente Palace Venice, both joining the Legend Collection; Teatro Luxury Apartments – Starhotels Collezione in Florence, joining Preferred Residences; Le Victoria Killarney in Ireland, joining the Lifestyle Collection; and Wynn Al Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates, also joining the Legend Collection.
