2027, Netherlands | Jupiter Capital invests €33.1M to complete Amrâth Hotels’ Galaxy Tower in Utrecht
Dutch real estate fund Jupiter Capital, based in Haarlem, is investing €33.1 million to enable completion of the Galaxy Tower, a 92-metre mixed-use tower in Utrecht's Beurskwartier district that will comprise 317 rental apartments and 250 hotel rooms operated by Amrâth Hotels. The deal, announced on 31 August, follows a prolonged financial dispute between developer De Lelie Vastgoed and construction firm Ballast Nedam that halted the site for more than two years. Delivery is now expected in mid-2027, over six years behind the original schedule.

US | Braemar Hotels & Resorts sells Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale for €318m and completes its exit from Ashford
Braemar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BHR) has signed a definitive agreement to sell the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, in Arizona, for $372 million (around €318m). Closing is expected on 22 October 2026. The Dallas-based listed REIT is using the proceeds to fund its separation from Ashford Inc. and will become a self-managed REIT focused on seven luxury hotels in the United States and the Caribbean.
