From 1 October 2026, the current H2 Hotel Budapest will join the Hungarian chain Danubius Hotels under the name Danubius Hotel District V. With the addition of this 157-room property in the heart of the Hungarian capital's 5th district, the group's portfolio will reach 17 hotels. The move reflects Danubius Hotels' continued development in its domestic market, backed by its British shareholder CP Holdings.

Aspen Hospitality, a division of Aspen One, unveiled on 15 September 2026 the architectural and interior design of The Nell New York, the forthcoming Nell Hotels property planned at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan. The 134-room hotel, set to open in autumn 2027, will be the first hotel located within Rockefeller Center and New York City's only Relais & Châteaux member. Braemar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BHR) has signed a definitive agreement to sell the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, in Arizona, for $372 million (around €318m). Closing is expected on 22 October 2026. The Dallas-based listed REIT is using the proceeds to fund its separation from Ashford Inc. and will become a self-managed REIT focused on seven luxury hotels in the United States and the Caribbean.
