Operation of the hotel has been entrusted to InnPractice, a hotel operating company that supports owners, investors, international brands and independent properties in structuring their operational performance. Witney, a gateway to Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

The Oxford Witney Hotel is located a short walk from Witney’s historic centre, around 24 kilometres west of Oxford and close to the Cotswolds. Witney is the largest market town in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, making it a convenient base for exploring both the university city of Oxford and the surrounding countryside.

Guests will be able to enjoy Witney’s twice-weekly market, independent shops and local dining scene, or attend concerts, plays and shows at the Corn Exchange, a 19th-century venue on Market Square. Cogges Manor Farm, known for having served as a filming location for Downton Abbey, is nearby, as is the River Windrush, which leads to Witney Lake and Country Park. Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Minster Lovell Hall are also within reach for day trips.

A renovation inspired by Witney’s wool heritage

The hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation designed to reflect the character and heritage of its surroundings. The guest experience and interior architecture draw on Witney’s long-standing wool and blanket-making tradition, the craftsmanship of the Arts & Crafts movement and local identity, expressed throughout the property.
