Midas Hospitality, the American hotel development, management and investment group, has named Linda Eigelberger as Chief Brand Officer (CBO) and Principal. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, she had served as the group’s Chief Commercial Officer since 2023.

The appointment caps a seven-year career at Midas Hospitality, marked by a steady rise through the company’s leadership ranks.

A seven-year internal trajectory

Linda Eigelberger joined Midas Hospitality in January 2019 as Vice President, Sales and Revenue Management, following more than two decades at InterContinental Hotels Group. In the official announcement of her arrival, David Robert, CEO and co-founder of Midas Hospitality, said at the time: “Linda has an outstanding track record in the industry, and she brings tremendous value to our company in terms of expertise and vision.” He added that he expected her leadership to help “build a competitive, engaging and successful sales culture across all of Midas Hospitality’s current and future properties.”

Her rise within the company then accelerated: Vice President of Revenue and Marketing in early 2021, followed by Senior Vice President & Principal from April of that same year. In May 2023, she was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer and Principal, a role she held for more than three years before taking the helm of the group’s brand. This succession of roles reflects a strong pattern of internal promotion at Midas Hospitality, where several senior executives have also gone on to join other groups, as seen with the group’s former SVP of Operations, recruited by OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group in spring 2026.

Midas Hospitality, a vertically integrated hotel company

Founded in 2006 and based in St. Louis, Missouri, Midas Hospitality describes itself as a vertically integrated hotel real estate company, active across the full value chain:

Hotel operator – the group manages hotels it owns as well as third-party properties, as an approved operator for Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, Choice and Best Western

Developer – Midas Hospitality also handles the development and construction of new hotel assets

Investor – the group invests capital in hotel assets and, more recently, in multifamily residential real estate

Positioning – a portfolio focused on select-service, extended-stay, boutique and upscale properties, primarily in the United States

This structure explains the nature of the roles Linda Eigelberger has held within the group: her commercial positions (VP Sales, CCO), like her current appointment as Chief Brand Officer, sit within Midas Hospitality’s operations and brand management arm, distinct from its development and investment activities.

A career built at IHG

Before joining Midas Hospitality, Linda Eigelberger held several senior commercial roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, including Director, Commercial Performance for the Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts brand, and Director, Commercial Support for the extended-stay, midscale and full-service segments, after a stint as Regional Sales Director.

A Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM), she began her hospitality career in the late 1990s, holding sales leadership roles at Summerfield Suites and Lodgeworks.

Brand becomes a new strategic priority for Midas Hospitality

Founded in 2006, Midas Hospitality develops, manages and invests in hotel assets across the United States, with a focus on select-service and extended-stay properties under brands such as Hilton, Marriott and IHG. The group has recently extended its footprint into the lifestyle segment, as seen with the opening of The Livingston in Brooklyn, the borough’s first Hyatt hotel, developed in partnership with ACRES Capital.

The creation of a Chief Brand Officer role, separate from the commercial function, signals an intent to give the group’s brand identity a more defined structure as its portfolio diversifies beyond traditional select-service. The precise scope of Linda Eigelberger’s new mandate has not yet been detailed.
