Sunday Hotels announces the integration of 24 hotels and resorts in Germany, previously operated under the Accor, Wyndham and H+ brands. The group thereby grows its German portfolio from 11 to 35 properties, as part of its European development strategy and its partnership with Aroundtown.

Egypt | Marriott International signs major agreement with Misr Italia Properties and People & Places

Rumour, Portugal | BF Grupo said to be preparing Rosewood’s arrival on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon

According to information obtained by Jornal Económico from sources close to the matter, Portuguese property group BF Grupo is reportedly preparing to develop a luxury hotel on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, to be operated by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. A contract between BF Grupo and the brand is said to already exist, though this could not be confirmed at this stage.

Deal, USA | Mast Capital and Koch Real Estate Investments Acquire The Islands of Islamorada Resort in Florida

A joint venture formed by Mast Capital, the Florida-based real estate development and investment firm, and Koch Real Estate Investments has acquired The Islands of Islamorada resort in the Florida Keys from the Frisbie Group. Scott Wadler of Berkadia Miami arranged financing for the acquisition through lender Ardent Real Estate. The sale price and the name of the future management company were not disclosed, with CoralTree Hospitality — which had managed the property for two years — no longer part of its portfolio.
