The transaction ranks among the largest Central London hotel deals completed in 2026. The portfolio will be repositioned under a new luxury hospitality brand focused on wellness and extended stays.

The three properties involved, born from The Other House concept launched in 2021 by the Anglo-Dutch joint venture between London Central Portfolio and APG, total 587 rooms across Covent Garden, South Kensington and Belgravia. The assets are held freehold. The first opening under the new brand will take place in Covent Garden in 2027.

The The Other House portfolio will be transformed into a new luxury hospitality platform, with each property combining luxury extended-stay residences, social wellness members’ clubs and culturally rooted “farm shop” spaces.

The buyers note that approximately 59% of international visitors stay four nights or longer in London, while extended-stay accommodation represents only around 1% of the city’s hotel supply, a disparity that highlights significant potential for repositioning and value creation in this asset category.

On 1 April 2026, France's Cour de cassation confirmed that a dismissal letter signed by the HR manager of another company within the employer's group was without real and serious cause, in the absence of proof of her authority over the subsidiary concerned.
