Boscolo Hôtels & SPAS has officially announced the appointment of Alexandre Benoit as General Manager of Boscolo Nice, a role he has held since June 2026. The appointment confirms a position he steps into after nearly twelve years spent at some of the most prestigious addresses in international luxury hospitality, from French Polynesia to the Seychelles.

Beginnings at iconic names of French luxury hospitality

Alexandre Benoit began his career at renowned five-star properties, L’Apogée Courchevel and Eden Rock St Barths, where he built strong operational expertise alongside a firm commitment to service excellence. These early experiences laid the groundwork for a career he went on to pursue with the Relais & Châteaux group.

Rising through the ranks in French Polynesia

Alexandre Benoit subsequently moved into management roles at exceptional resorts in French Polynesia, holding positions first as Food & Beverage Director and then as operational General Manager. This trajectory gave him a broad, integrated understanding of the hospitality profession.

While with Relais & Châteaux in Polynesia, he led a Cluster F&B mission spanning five hotels, as well as the rollout of a purchasing cluster. This work helped structure and optimise the group’s operational and economic performance across the region.

At the helm of iconic addresses in the Pacific

Alexandre Benoit went on to lead several prestigious properties in the Pacific, including the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa and the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort Thalasso & Spa, before taking the helm at The Brando, an internationally renowned ultra-luxury address. In these roles, he oversaw the full scope of operations and played an active part in driving financial performance, guest experience and team development.

A key milestone at Cheval Blanc Seychelles

More recently, Alexandre Benoit joined Cheval Blanc Seychelles, one of the LVMH group’s most recent flagship addresses, as Hotel Manager, supporting the property’s set-up and operational launch. This proved a defining experience, deepening his expertise in ultra-luxury standards as well as in pre-opening and organisational-build environments.

Recognised for his operational leadership, results-driven culture and ability to unite multicultural teams, Alexandre Benoit has also worked within Forbes Travel Guide environments and internationally award-winning resorts.

A new ambition for Boscolo Nice

His arrival marks a new chapter for Boscolo Nice, with ambitions to strengthen its positioning and continue building its profile within a fast-growing Nice hotel scene.

The property will be operated by Amapa, the Italian white-label operator already running the country's first TRIBE in Malpensa. Construction began in the third quarter of 2026, with delivery targeted for the first quarter of 2028.

2028, United Kingdom | Hilton Signs London Bridge Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the Brand’s First Property in the British Capital

Hilton has announced the signing of the London Bridge Hotel, which will join the lifestyle brand Tapestry Collection by Hilton under a franchise agreement with Gama Holdings. The 153-room property, located immediately adjacent to London Bridge station, is set to open in early 2028 following a transformation representing an investment of more than €14 million. The signing marks Tapestry Collection by Hilton's debut in the British capital and brings the number of Hilton brands present in London to nine.

Vietnam | IHG and Alphanam Group sign first InterContinental branded residences in Sapa

IHG Hotels & Resorts and Vietnamese developer Alphanam Group announced on 8 September 2026 the launch of The Residences at InterContinental Sapa Resort, the first residential project under the InterContinental flag in Northwest Vietnam. Located in the Muong Hoa valley, Lao Cai province, the 79-villa development strengthens the British group's presence in the branded residences segment, one of the most active growth drivers in Southeast Asian hospitality.
