Two management agreements covering 600 rooms

Announced on 26 October 2026, the two projects will strengthen Hyatt’s presence in Bengaluru, an Indian metropolis with particularly strong activity in technology, engineering and business services.

The agreements were concluded between Hyatt subsidiaries and two entities of Brigade Group, an Indian property developer specialising in integrated developments.

Both hotels will operate under the Hyatt Regency brand, with accommodation and event facilities tailored to their respective locations.

No opening dates or investment budgets were disclosed in the announcement.

Brigade Global Park: a 350-room hotel within a major business hub

The first property, Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park, will be developed within a 25-acre integrated complex, equivalent to approximately 10 hectares, centred on advanced engineering and business activities.

The hotel will offer approximately 350 rooms and suites, several food and beverage outlets and around 2,323 sq m of meeting and event space.

This positioning is expected to enable the property to meet the needs of businesses operating within the complex while also accommodating conferences, seminars and corporate events.

The project illustrates the increasing integration of hotels into large business-oriented real estate developments, where an internationally branded property can contribute to the overall attractiveness of the destination.

Whitefield-Kadugodi Road: 250 rooms within a new mixed-use development

The second project will be developed within a future integrated real estate complex on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road, in eastern Bengaluru.

Developed by Ananthay Properties Private Limited, the hotel will feature approximately 250 rooms and suites, several dining outlets and dedicated meeting and event facilities.

The property will notably include a ballroom exceeding 929 sq m, complemented by a spacious pre-function area and several meeting rooms.

Whitefield is one of Bengaluru’s principal technology and business services districts, generating substantial demand for corporate travel.

Both Hyatt Regency properties are also expected to offer restaurants, bars, fitness facilities and leisure amenities, in line with the brand’s positioning.

Hyatt and Brigade Group deepen their partnership

These signings extend the existing collaboration between Hyatt and Brigade Group.

For the US hotel group, Bengaluru represents a strategic market owing to its concentration of international companies, corporate travel activity and growing meetings and events sector.

“Bengaluru continues to demonstrate strong demand for business travel, meetings and events,” emphasises Vikas Chawla, President, India and Southwest Asia at Hyatt.

For her part, Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director of Brigade Group, notes that hospitality is an important component of the group’s large-scale property developments.

Integrating the two hotels into mixed-use projects is therefore intended to help create destinations combining several real estate asset classes and different sources of visitor demand.

As of 30 June 2026, Hyatt reported a portfolio of more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties across 83 countries.

The Hyatt Regency brand itself comprised more than 245 properties in over 50 countries.

LTH Analysis | Hotels as strategic components of mixed-use real estate developments

These two signings illustrate a structural trend in hotel development across India’s major metropolitan areas: the integration of internationally branded hotels into multifunctional real estate complexes.

For Brigade Group, the inclusion of two Hyatt Regency hotels is intended to strengthen the service offering within its developments while meeting the needs of businesses and visitors.

For Hyatt, the management agreements provide an opportunity to expand its presence in a growing market without requiring ownership of the underlying real estate assets.

The strategic value also lies in the ability of both hotels to capture demand generated partly by their immediate surroundings: offices, business activities, meetings and events.

Their success will nevertheless depend on the delivery schedules of the wider property developments, the growth of surrounding business activity and the hotels’ ability to attract guests from beyond their respective complexes.

Opening dates, investment amounts and the financial terms of the agreements have not been disclosed.
