A floating-rate refinancing structured by JLL

JLL Capital Markets announced on 1 September 2026 that it had arranged the refinancing of Bowie House, Auberge Collection, a 106-key luxury boutique hotel located at 3700 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, Texas. The transaction was carried out on behalf of the borrower, Bowie Place Properties.

The borrower secured a floating-rate loan with a term of up to five years, provided by MetLife. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Bowie House, the Cultural District’s first boutique address

Opened in December 2023, Bowie House has established itself as the first luxury boutique hotel in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, operating under the Auberge Resorts Collection brand. The property, awarded two Michelin Keys, spans four floors with 88 rooms and 18 suites, including a 209 sqm signature suite. The hotel totals 17,845 sqm.

A dining and wellness offering built around art

The property features the signature restaurant Bricks and Horses, The Bar at Bowie House, the Ash Spa, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool area. Close to 400 works of art are displayed throughout the hotel’s interior spaces.

Bowie House also offers 1,007 sqm of meeting and event space across six function rooms, including the 395 sqm Silverton Room.

A strategic anchor within Fort Worth’s cultural ecosystem

The hotel sits in the immediate vicinity of five internationally renowned museums, including the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers Memorial Center, which together draw several million visitors a year, round out the surrounding area. The property thus anchors a 30-block cultural pedestrian corridor at the heart of the city.

The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historical District, known for its daily cattle drives and western entertainment venues, lies 7.2 km away, while Texas Christian University is 5.6 km from the hotel.

Growing media recognition

Since opening, Bowie House has been featured by Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes, TIME, Observer and WFAA. The hotel has also served as a filming location for the Paramount Network series Landman.

The JLL teams behind the deal

The Debt Advisory team at JLL Capital Markets was led by Jim Curtin, Senior Managing Director, and De’On Collins, Managing Director, supported by associate Luke Rogers and analyst Campbell Swango. JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality team, represented by directors Greyson Fewin and Robert Westerfield, also contributed to the transaction.

This refinancing continues JLL Capital Markets’ strong run of activity in the US upscale hotel financing market.
