Kalia Konstantinidou, Group Executive Officer of Empiria Group, has been appointed to the new Board of Directors of Marketing Greece. The organisation, which acts as Greece’s destination marketing body, brings together the public and private sectors around a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening the country’s tourism identity through innovative marketing and authentic destination storytelling.

This appointment builds on Empiria Group’s ongoing approach, whose work extends beyond guest experience alone to actively contribute to Greece’s long-term resilience, identity and international positioning as a destination. The new Board is chaired by Agapi Sbokou, appointed Chair of Marketing Greece.

Kalia Konstantinidou has led Empiria Group since 2000, and has owned the company for more than 26 years. A graduate of Cardiff University, she has established herself as a well-known figure in Greek hospitality, with an approach built around long-term thinking, meaningful partnerships and a deep respect for the places, people and stories that define the country’s destinations.
