Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA welcomes Sylvain Lagier as Vice President of Operations. He will hold operational responsibility for the group’s Region 3, a portfolio of more than 25 Aimbridge-managed properties in the United Kingdom, operating under brands such as Mercure and Radisson.
Sylvain Lagier joins Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA after just over a year and a half at Brightstar Hospitality, where he served as Group Operations Director, overseeing the company’s UK hotel portfolio between February 2025 and August 2026. His remit covered operational and commercial strategy, guest experience, owner performance and budgetary oversight across the entire portfolio.
Before Brightstar, Sylvain Lagier spent nearly eleven years at Atlas Hotels, where he held a series of roles of increasing responsibility: Head of European Operations, Head of Guest Experience, Regional Operations Manager, Area General Manager, and subsequently General Manager at several UK properties, including in Milton Keynes, Stratford-upon-Avon and Leicester. He also served as Hotel Resident Manager at the Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland Paris.
His career in hospitality began 25 years ago as Assistant Financial Controller at the Hotel New York at Disneyland Paris Resort. He then spent close to ten years with the Accor group, holding several positions in Rooms Division, Revenue & Distribution and Food & Beverage, including at Novotel Heathrow Airport, Novotel Cardiff Centre and Novotel Milton Keynes.
Sylvain Lagier completed Accor UK&I’s Management Development Programme in 2007. He also holds a master’s degree in hotel management and finance from the University of Evry and a BTS in Hospitality Management, option A, obtained at UTEC Emerainville.
This appointment comes as Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA continues to build out its leadership teams and strengthen operational oversight, including through the recent rollout of its S.P.A.R.K. platform, designed to standardise performance tracking across its global portfolio.
