Adani Group is reportedly in talks with Accor and ITC Hotels to hand over management of several hotel properties acquired through the takeover of Jaiprakash Associates (JAL), according to reports by the Economic Times, picked up by several Indian media outlets. This follows Adani Enterprises’ acquisition of JAL for around €1.33 billion via a resolution plan approved by India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in March 2026, a deal that encompassed real estate, infrastructure and hospitality assets.
According to these reports, Accor is said to be the frontrunner for managing the properties in Delhi and Agra, with possible involvement in their renovation. JAL’s hotel portfolio notably includes the Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre in Agra, the Jaypee Residency Manor in Mussoorie, as well as the Jaypee Vasant Continental and the Jaypee Siddharth in New Delhi.
ITC Hotels, for its part, is said to be in discussions to manage the Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort in Greater Noida, a 900-hectare property that includes India’s first Greg Norman-designed championship golf course, 170 rooms and suites, seven dining venues and a spa spanning more than 8,000 square metres.
This move is part of a broader strategy by Adani Group to professionalise the management of its hotel assets by relying on established operators rather than running them directly. The group had already signed a hotel management agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts in May, covering five airport-linked properties, notably in Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram.
At this stage, no official announcement has been made by the parties concerned. The outcome of these discussions will clarify the extent of Accor’s and ITC Hotels’ involvement in this portfolio, which marks a diversification for Adani Group beyond its hotel assets typically linked to its airport operations.
