A taste of Nice in the heart of Paris’s luxury district

On 19 November 2026, La Petite Maison is scheduled to open on Rue du Boccador, in Paris’s Golden Triangle, close to Avenue Montaigne and the Champs-Élysées.

The location places the restaurant in one of the city’s most frequented districts for affluent international visitors, near several luxury hotels, including Plaza Athénée.

Historically associated with Nice, the restaurant will serve Mediterranean cuisine centred on Niçois specialities and seasonal produce.

The menu will include pissaladière, petits farcis niçois, sea bass prepared in Nicole’s style, grilled fish and a whole roast chicken with foie gras.

The culinary offering is based on dishes designed for sharing, remaining faithful to the convivial atmosphere that characterises the original restaurant.

Nicole Rubi: a culinary identity developed over more than thirty years

The history of La Petite Maison is closely associated with Nicole Rubi and her daughter Anne-Laure Rubi, who have helped establish its reputation for Niçois cuisine.

Over the years, the brand has extended its presence beyond Nice, notably to Cannes and Marbella.

The Paris opening marks another stage in this development, establishing a presence in a market where upscale dining benefits from both local demand and international visitor flows.

The objective is not to create a new culinary concept, but to bring an established identity to Paris: Mediterranean recipes, convivial service and a leisurely dining experience.

DB Group as operator, Lapérouse Holding as owner

Several parties are involved in the organisation of the new restaurant.

DB Group, the hospitality company founded by David Barokas, will be responsible for the restaurant’s day-to-day operations.

The group operates in several destinations, including Paris, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Saint-Barthélemy, through restaurant and leisure activities.

According to the information released, Lapérouse Holding, founded by Benjamin Patou, owns the Paris establishment.

This arrangement therefore distinguishes the operating responsibilities of DB Group from the ownership attributed to Lapérouse Holding. The precise legal and real estate scope of that ownership, as well as the contractual terms governing operations, have not been specified.

Neither the investment amount nor the restaurant’s seating capacity has been disclosed.

A dining experience designed to evolve from lunch to dinner

The interior design has been entrusted to Richard Sanders of First Within studio.

The project aims to create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere suited to different dining occasions.

The experience is intended to evolve between lunch and dinner, with music and conviviality playing an important role.

The restaurant plans to welcome guests from Monday to Saturday, from 12 noon to 3 pm for lunch and from 7 pm to midnight for dinner. It will be closed on Sundays.

Reservations are available through SevenRooms.

LTH Analysis | The Golden Triangle as a development market for distinctive restaurant brands

La Petite Maison’s arrival in the Golden Triangle forms part of a development strategy extending beyond the opening of a single restaurant.

In this district, restaurants benefit from an environment combining luxury hotels, international boutiques, offices and affluent residential customers.

For a brand already associated with a tourism destination such as Nice, the challenge is to transfer an established regional culinary reputation into a particularly competitive international market.

The involvement of DB Group as operator and Lapérouse Holding as owner also highlights the importance of specialised entrepreneurial structures in developing restaurant and hospitality destinations.

The challenge will be to preserve La Petite Maison’s Niçois identity while adapting it to the expectations of Parisian and international customers.

More broadly, the opening illustrates operators’ interest in concepts with an established history, a recognisable culinary identity and the ability to expand into several destinations.

For the surrounding luxury hotels, the restaurant will help diversify the district’s dining offering in an environment where gastronomy contributes directly to the destination’s appeal.

The strategic issue is the transferability of a restaurant brand: how can an iconic establishment expand without diluting the qualities on which its reputation was built?
